  1. I would, Sony single handedly killed Sega off with the PS2 hype.
  2. Not really, they just said Gill became the youngest Emperor the Illuminatti has ever had, which leads to him being a few years young off Seth probably. Urien is either his twin brother/clone or a clone born a few days/months after Gill. They might not be test tube babies because both their powers come from Illuminatti's secret arts (Gill's being Ressurection, while Urien's is Metal Earth). What's interesting here is Seth is a cyborg amd Gill & Urien are not. For all we know, Seth could be a random memeber in the Illuminatti who infiltrated Shadowloo and became the Weapons R&D leader (which is otherly known as SIN). The look isn't coincidence, looks like they still want to connect SF2.5 to SF3:NG. A look that's coincidence is Heart-sama.

  4. PSX A3 came out first and has everyone (PSX got Boxer, Guile, Hawk, DJ, Fei-Long+Dolls, Arcade only had Boxer+Dolls) before Upper/Double Upper. It's not arcade perfect either, it's missing tons of frames from the CPS2 verison. Dreamcast version had all the PSX specialties, but was more arcade perfect. Upper (Arcade) didn't add Guile, Hawk, DJ, Fei-Long until it was ported to handhelds if I recall. The PSP has all the balance changes of Upper + The Secret Characters + Ingrid.
  5. Shoulder Dash: Gill/Urien cr. HK; Gill/Urien Choke Hold throw: Gill/Urien Conclusion: Gill Clone game play wise. Story wise, the "precursor" to Gill and Urien, or another branch of Illu. Adding; Seth is also from Egypt! JUST LIKE URIEN AND GILL! WHAT A SURPRISE!?!!
  6. Who cares what you think, your still giving them money regardless.

  8. FBA is open source, someone could easily add the drivers for it. You can compile it yourself to support it.
  9. Don't matter. In 2D fighting games, it isn't 99 seconds, it's 99 Ticks. Completely different because of possible graphical engine slow down. 60 Seconds in a 3D fighting game, is really 60 seconds. Depends which game your talking about. So what? Air Juggling is a loop. Loops have been around since SFII. Loops are not infinities. A Loop is reversable, an infinity is not. If you don't know block strings or loop strings, how do you fight to keep pressure with just poking. Also not every 3D fighting game has Ring Out. All fighting games have bufferable commands. This complaint is reduntent. Jumping isn't a viable option in any fighting game unless it's garunteed to be safe or the jump in has a better priority to stuff anti-air attacks. With a game like SF3, jumping is safe either way with parrying, in Garou, both characters can potentionally Just Defend. With characters with no set anti-air (Chun in 3s, her cr. HK is her anti-air, but it isnt' the best anti-air for her to use) have a tougher time to beat jump ins without parrying. Side Stepping in 3D games is a valid and tested way to avoid an attack on the vertical axis.
  10. Speifically, with a B88/W58/H90 and is 173cm tall. Finding a woman like that who isn't ugly, has smoking legs also, would be rather difficult.
  11. That's business right there. They'll make more money when they make each exclusive character up for download. They know it too, hell, they might just do it to keep the life in SC4 after the initial 6 months when the sales will die down to occasional (100 or so) purchase. For my self run 10 people or so tournaments for this game, I'm banning the character exlusives anyways. I'll also avoid any Yoda players on live. I'm a tourneyfag and I don't care about the extra characters.
  12. People keep forgetting Nintendo has existed longer (I guess about a century now, 1902 or something) then those two companies so they have fall back on money just in case something goes wrong. Like when everything went wrong in the mid-late 90's. The only thing that was selling alot were Game Boys and still managed to stay in the green.
  13. For me, I need at least 15 games to get excited about for me to justify a PS3 buy. So far, only MGS4 and FF13 hit that list. I don't give a crap about Tekken 6, I can play that in the arcade with people who are actually good, doubles for any fighting game on PS3. Even with it's region-free system, I do not see alot of people beyond hardcore gamers taking advantage of it (har har, we want itz in english!), I'm not flocking towards it (lol fighting games? get out, I go to the arcade. RPGs, english prefered even with my limited japanese reading).
  14. Generals is too slow IMO. They sorta fixed it with it's xpacs. C&C3 is better after patching. Pre-EA C&C would be RA2+YR (YR was developed by some Westwood staff before they moved to become EA-LA). Art style and gameplay mostly is what I don't like about the newer ones. The addition of a 3rd race is something I do not like at all.
  15. Pretty much what I think on the PS3. I know I defend the 360 from time to time and hate on the PS3, because let's face it, the PS3 has the worst PR in the world.
  16. Confirmed in ign link a few pages back. Screw everything and everyone else's preceptions of online play at this point, GGPO for SF4. It'll happen.
  17. Now we need you dancing around to Wii games in gif form :V :V :V (we really need to invest in the :V emote)
  18. They haven't put anything up for him yet. He was confirmed along with Sim, Ryu, Ken and Chun when the first previews hit. Also; HEART-SAMA!(ノ゜Д゜)ノ
  19. Since the beginning of the whole series, there was hints that he was a father previously before to the new series. Also no one knows if Susan (from the 1st doctor tenture) was his biological granddaughter or not. Being Canadian, we don't get Doctor Who until the summer (because we have ice hockey games to cover from October up until possibly the beginning or mid-way till June), we also don't get Dr. Who Confidential D: but I have downloaded the series as it aired in the UK. Question; did Dr. Who last week air?
  20. Their just lazy to optimize the PS3 build. Although 360 to PS3 port building seems easier to do then building the game side by side.
  21. Already confirmed to be in the game a LONG time ago.
  22. "The Doctor's daughter, played by The Doctor's daughter." Pretty much says it all.
  23. Think Guilty Gear in 3D. Same gameplay style, same amount of buttons.
  24. More or less what Smile said.
