The SNES/Genesis ports of UMK3 suck so much because everything was totally degraded. The Saturn version is the only one I feel that was truely like the Arcade version since they didn't degrade a whole lot of it, just changing a few fatalties here and there and bugs. UMK3 engine is based on MK3 which in turn, was the same one used in MKT. Edit: But in MKT they added 1 more thing, which was the AGGRESSION bar.

Depends on the game. If it's a game that I've been watching since it's press release, I might buy it depending on how much info has been mentioned on it to tell if they delievered. Sometimes I just go buy them because I'm a die hard fan of it. I also look for deals on used copies, like Smackdown: Here Comes The Pain!, which I got for 59.99 inseted of 79.99 and GGXX for 49.99 and Shinobi for free. Useally EB or even Blockbuster has sometimes new and used titles for cheap.

Yes, both DVD's are formatted diffrently from each other. The only way to do so is to get a seperate burner or find the DVD-R version of your drive and change it to those bios, but you won't be able to use +r anymore tho :/
