Dan is useless , naw he owns, especially his SvCC encarnation. What about Ibuki? She was great in SFIII:2nd Impact, but I also hate capcom's choice to severaly tone her down and getting rid of her 3rd Special Art and tone down her hbc+P move in SFIII:3rd Strike. Shes still fun to use, just not as fun as it used to I still miss the 20 hit combos I used to do with her.

Arcading over here around my area of Montreal is just dead. Noone goes to the arcade for skill anymore. It's more like, "I'm going to play this game for a while and own it up," then when I show up its all about skill and putting up with the brokeness of the game. Thats another topic. I still enjoy going to the arcade and wasting my money into the machines that bring joyment to the competition that knows what their doing. But overall, its just dead around here. Why go out and play it, when you can play it at home. I agree awhole lot AntiWinner, I also think its more of a culture difference then anything else. A hate these so called "hardcore" gamers that all they do is play Xbox live all day long. This generation doesn't know anything of gaming then it used to. Why fight someone face to face when you can do it online? Killing time playing the arcades, psh. What happen to the real enjoyment of it? As far as I know, it died along time ago (around 2000-2001). No one skillful anymore, just scrubs.

dont you have the games already? why pay for them if its obvious that neither SNK nor sony want your money that badly. Hey, I still want to support the game developers them selves for making the games in the first place.

I feel bad about it. I really want SvC Chaos and Samurai Shodown 5 to come State side so I don't have to order them. And I really hope SS5 makes it pass Sony's gaming testing. I don't want to get an Xbox just for SSV...

Not offended, but a correction. Ryu, Ken, Sean, Gouki, Sakura, Gen all use Ansatsuken. Shotokan is a mistake in translation. Ryu, Ken, Sean, Sakura = All modified not to kill. Kempo, Kyokugen, Tae Kwon Do mixed together. Akuma = Designed it to be the ulitiment art. Add Chinese Kempo. Gen = Designed to kill. Add acient fighting styles.

Why make a new character when you can just "copy" characters from another game. This is truely an original effort by SNK. I use the term "original" loosely here. He is like Remy and Guile really, nothing more, nothing less. Looks of Remy and moves of Guile. There have been rarely any "original" characters as of late. So take it as a blessing then a torture.

Ahem, Capcom has sold their fighting game delevopments to Sammy for Arcade distrubution. SNKplaymore is doing the same thing when this Arc is over. BTW. Its just Capcom vs Sammy, developed by Capcom and Sammy but mostly Capcom will be developing it.

Me too . 2nd Impact is where Ibuki was a goddess of destruction. So no losses there when 3rd Strike came out. Then again, I really loved the fact Ibuki was the own in 2nd Impact! She rules.

After using mame for KOF2k3, i've been thinking of changing to it. The problem is, it runs sluggish untill i close everything but the task bar and explorer.
