  1. Because PS2's online infrastructure sucked balls compared to Live. Home < Live.
  2. please do yourself a favour go to youtube and type and kof charicter and say mugen they will give you a video on a good mugen engine what is the name of that pesific engine thank you and by the way i read a lot Fun fact, mugen engines are written by folks with charcters they intend to add. There are a few NEW engines out there, and all use mugen and it's filetypes as it's base. As in, new completely, overhauled engines, like Shuguen. But what you mean is someone took the base system mechanics of mugen, and changed them. Which is all possible via all it's config files. Theres only 1 mugen, and tons of different scripts with that make the base engine. In fact, if I knew WTF I was doing, I'd able to make an engine with parrying. I know someone who has in fact. He wrote it all up so we don't have to give each individual character spific code for parrying and just give em animations. L2code. No such thing as a speific engine. Theres mugen, and then theres all the edits people did for them.
  3. Because theres better bands, such as Death From Above 1979. Who in fact, toured and opened for Queens of the Stone Age as well. I approve your fail. And I approve of you being a gay ninja. What's your point fag?
  4. Hitch quiet possibly had international names. Domestically in North America, it was titled "Hitch".
  5. Fukkin sexy. That a bigsy up there? Can't really tell. Real or a really good knock off.
  6. It's just too bad everyone uses A-Sak/Claw/Dictator/Blanka. K-Chun/Cammy/R2 Hibiki, N-Chun/Maki/R2 Hibiki, N-Chun/Morrigan/R2 Hibiki FTW.
  7. I prefer the Capcom way. Sure more animations, but it's also access to more special normals. Do I need remind people of how many retarded, and utterly useless special normals Dimitri has in SvCC? SNK tried, but it failed because they wanted to cram all his normals and special normals to him. 6 Button strengths work best in some cases, and is best used for Capcom fighters, when CVS+Pro/2 rolled on in, they had to give all these medium normals to all the SNK fighters, for most of the SNK cast, it made them better as it did away with some useless motions and made them more flexible characters. It just depends I guess. SNK fighters don't have button strengths, it's just A, B, C, D and E.
  8. I've only gotten one warning from my ISP. They just told me not to download anything from Warner Brothers. No joke.

  10. But there are many Rock genres being played by indie Rock groups. It's like you saying "Alternative Rock" means one and the same, when theres many forms and varations on it.

  12. Shake Hands with the Devil. This movie is absolutely amazing. It's about a U.N. commander that was in the Rawanda Genocides. Duty or conscience? Loved every minute of it. Excellent writing, it hits hard, beautiful photography.
  13. Too bad the dude made millions eh?
  14. Being a career vs it being a past time is a constant battle to get your things out there in some form. I support it whole heartedly and don't post things up on the internet, that will get you no where. You have send it in to places, magazines even, get your stuff published. Simply emailing them isn't enough. GET YO crap OUT THERE SON.
  15. MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin (AP) -- Gary Gygax, who co-created the fantasy game Dungeons & Dragons and helped start the role-playing phenomenon, died Tuesday morning at his home in Lake Geneva. He was 69. He had been suffering from health problems for several years, including an abdominal aneurysm, said his wife, Gail Gygax. Gygax and Dave Arneson developed Dungeons & Dragons in 1974 using medieval characters and mythical creatures. The game known for its oddly shaped dice became a hit, particularly among teenage boys, and eventually was turned into video games, books and movies. Gygax always enjoyed hearing from the game's legion of devoted fans, many of whom would stop by the family's home in Lake Geneva, about 55 miles southwest of Milwaukee, his wife said. Despite his declining health, he hosted weekly games of Dungeons & Dragons as recently as January, she said. "It really meant a lot to him to hear from people from over the years about how he helped them become a doctor, a lawyer, a policeman, what he gave them," Gygax said. "He really enjoyed that." Dungeons & Dragons players create fictional characters and carry out their adventures with the help of complicated rules. The quintessential geek pastime, it spawned a wealth of copycat games and later inspired a whole genre of computer games that's still growing in popularity. Funeral arrangements are pending. Besides his wife, Gygax is survived by six children. CNN
  16. My guitar weeps gentley tonight. My A minor is for him.
  17. Just because you suck doesn't mean you gotta say they aren't fighting games.
  18. They don't exist. Their all rom hacks or some crazy BS of older KOF games. HOWEVER, there is a game called King of Fighters 2006, which is actually King of Fighters Maximum Impact 2. SNKp stopped making and naming their KOF games annually now since 2003. After 2003, it's been KOFXI (KOF 11) and KOF XII (KOF12).
  19. It's not a rom. It's a CD Image. Now, is the CD image self boot? Because if it isn't, it won't work with NullDC unlike Chankast. Second, do you have the Dreamcast bios? If not, get them as well. In all likely hood it doesn't work, then it isn't selfbooting. Which means it won't work with NullDC until you made it selfbootable.
  20. Probably? I hate GC's choice in font, it looks really... 70's prono.
  21. ALot of reports thus far that Sagat and Boxer are CPU only fights. Which is if you only fight against CPU, they'll appear. SST here we go.
