  1. Fun fact, while Radiohead did release their album online, about 60% who ordered the album off the site were for the DiscBox. People out there still like physical releases, but direct lable or directly from the artists themselves is a huge plus. They get more revenue that way. Radiohead is now so rich, it's beyond filthy on how much they made on the album alone. Yorke mentioned that the average for the pay what you want model was 4 Pounds. Multiply that by, I dunno, about half a million, and they are friking rich.
  2. Too bad overall the game sucked. Too much gameplay difference between to what SCII to SCIII transition. It's why SC4 is going back to SCII-gameplay.

  5. Isn't Glilon = Galil? Tavor is a semi-auto sub machine gun right? It's been a while since I read anything on guns.
  6. Now you know how canadiens feel when 5+ feet of snow hit us.
  7. Released: 22/01/2007 The Good, The Bad and The Queen by The Good, The Bad and The Queen: Damon Albarn - Lead Vocals & Keyboards Paul Simonon - Bass and Backing Vocals Simon Tong - Guitar Tony Allen - Drums 1. "History Song" - 3:05 2. "'80s Life" - 3:28 3. "Northern Whale" - 3:54 4. "Kingdom of Doom" - 2:42 5. "Herculean" - 3:59 6. "Behind the Sun" - 2:38 7. "The Bunting Song" - 3:47 8. "Nature Springs" - 3:10 9. "A Soldier's Tale" - 2:30 10. "Three Changes" - 4:15 11. "Green Fields" - 2:26 12. "The Good, The Bad & The Queen" - 7:00 All songs written by Damon Albarn. Singles Released: "Herculean" "Kingdom of Doom" "Green Fields" Lead by Damon Albarn (Blur, Gorillaz) with Paul Simonon (The Clash), Simon Tong (Verve) and Tony Allen (Fela Kuti). The Good, The Bad and The Queen is certainly a super group for the modern listener. The album itself is a concept album of living in London. With it's light riffs played by the crew together with Albarn's song writing, shows how well several generations of artists can be put into a room and make wonderful, beautiful music. I put an emphesis on Albarn's writing as it's certain matured greatly since his days with Blur and expanded upon with his time fronting the Gorillaz. While it seems easy listening at first, it becomes completely something by introducing a more funk~reggea tone and at times going completely acoustic. The soft bass lines by Simonon and the excellent guitar work by Tong are also a highlight. While not something out of left field with madening solos, it harmonizes perfectly with Albarn's ghost-like featherish vocals. Finally, to top it off, with everyone's background, there is at least one defining track. That track is The Good, The Band & The Queen. In a punkish manner, it puts everything into prespective from what the listener just went through. After listen through and decoding what Albarn is saying. Living in London doesn't seem that great anymore.
  8. I'm quiet surprised actually. It's not bad, but it doesn't completely suck either. It's "God damn I need a buger now" type food then.
  9. Coicidentally, the very same forum I got this Topic had that very same picture posted.
  10. No, not a gamecop thread. http://gizmodo.com/350091/cheeseburger-in-...g-ive-ever-seen This is a cheeseburger. In a can. It's a cheeseburger in a can. I honestly can't figure out how I feel about this: is it the greatest achievement of mankind thus far, or is it an abomination of foodstuffs that deserves to be hucked back into the gaping maw of whatever food processing plant it was spewed from? I just don't know what to think anymore. Would you eat a cheeseburger in a can? Keep in mind that it'll look nowhere near as delicious as the example above when you pull it out of the can. I don't know how to feel.
  11. I believe she's a transformation char like Sheik is to Zelda.
  12. I thought Krystal and GanonD. were pretty much shoe in's already.
  13. I say Rock Band because; GH3 isn't the best GH in the series. Neversoft played it safe with the forumla and I don't blame them. However, this does bring to the attention too that GH4 must bring something new to the table. Rock Band is *multiplayer* all the way. It's THE best party game out there right now. Even with they make no updates too it other then Song Packs, it will beat GH out of the water because it has a better offering over all... If you have friends or play online (or both). What Rock Band needs to be even better would be: Pearl Jam Queen Guitar Dueling I can live without the PJ and Queen, but Guitar Dueling would be pretty much win. Or any type of Dueling for that matter.
  14. New build; Build 27.1 Release Notes * Fixed a bug in build 27 which would cause a match to freeze in the middle. Build 27 Release Notes * Experimental Dojo Support for King of Fighters 98 support. * Fixed a bug which would sometimes pop the user out of the AFK state. * More bandwidth reduction fixes.
  15. I just hope it doesn't suck like Renagade.
  16. MBAC is still on mylist and so is Bioshock and a handful of other games. Only problems are that i lost my reviews when i reformatted. Hence why I did crysis so fast.
  17. I don't know if this is a poor attempt at a "Rickroll" but wrong YT link there.
  18. Basara X = Sengouku Basara Cross. I haven't a clue on anything on it other then it might hit PS2 OR PS3 and it runs on Namco's System 256. I expect it to hit Wii and PS2 to be honest and I wouldn't be surprised if it does. As for BlazBlue, apparently it's already confirmed for PS3 telling by the artical. I have to double check on that.
  19. if you were access to that horsepower it could be doable. so are the specs people are using on their pc to play saturn/dreamcast emulation, better than 360 or less? just curious. For the most part, specs play second, it's how well someone programs the way CPU properly emulates the original console's native CPU. If someone programmed a C2D version of the PCSX2(and I believe the team has done it) it would no doubt run much better on a C2D CPU than the older Intel P4 CPUs. So if you were programming a Saturn emulator for a PowerPC CPU (aka 360), they'd need to make sure to get the processing right. It would be very doable, as we've seen with the 360. Playing emulated Xbox titles. PS3 would be more viable as it can runs linux and people already have access to 4-5 cores (I know 4 are locked out). But the PS3 requires more guessing due to how each core handles processing. (which I've said in a different thread).
  20. We know it's bound to pick up where AC left off gameplay wise. Beyond that is anyone's guess. Similarly how we all though Basara Cross was going to be like GG in general, but ended up being much slower speed (I would say it looked like SS5SP on crack a bit). They seem to also adopt the Melty Blood control scheme, except theres no "SHIELD" button.
  21. NASA has said that it isn't big. It would be a little small thing (about the size of a thumb or 2) as it's just a couple of paces away from the Rover and not *really* far away.
  22. In theory, it is possible if they had access to all the cores, ram and GPU memory emulation wise. How good would it be is totally up in the air.
