Word on the street is that the engine is finally getting retired and NHL09 PC will be using a whole new engine. I feel for you, the PC version of it is completely trash compared to the 360/PS3 versions. They used the old version fo cash in for the PS2 version (Since the PS2 and PC versions are alike).

I'd love for 5 to come out personally since 4 was a disaster in terms of gameplay. I'd love to print those PDFs out and make me some mecha papercraft :3 Perhaps your contacts are old, last I checked they didn't bother with it. I'll eventually get it and play it with a script. You guys should take ours. Last month, everyone reported that this season is going to be one of the worst in the last 12 years. Lo and behold, it was only 10 years ago that the East coast had that terrible ice storm.

Front Mission and AC are probably my all time favorites because of a few things. Heavy customization being the main draw. Sadly there have been more AC games released in North America then Front Mission (Only 1st, 3 and 4 came out, and no plans to remake 2 and port 5 sadly). Also, another mention is that AC2 is by far the best AC game. Ever. I did like the effort they put into 4, but so far, none of the games thus far have proven to be better then 2. I also wish they'd put more effort into making it with a much more better and kick ass storyline, similar to Front Mission. Project Phantasma is another good AC game also, it came before 2 and still good.

Also, some of 3s's storylines aren't finished up either. Considering SF3 was a failure to them finacially and all. IF SF3 was a big hit back in 97/98/99, we would of definately seen SF4 together with CvS2 and Marvel in 2000-2001. It did leave a legacy though. No company to this day has tried to match SF3 in graphical quality because it costs so damn much. Considering it took 2 years for them to make SF3 (according to TAS it started in late 95) and Alpha was only made to hold out until New Gen came out. Also apparently, Ono had been bugging Ifanue (sp is wrong) since 05 about SF4, considering CFJ was set to be a failed game from the start since it's original producer left Cap midway during development. SA choosing is better IMO then Tier-Supers. Making it similar to SF2 with 1 Super, of course after 10 years we've pretty much considered which ones are the best supers to use, similar to how when people play CvS2, they only use one super becuase the rest suck as far as their concerned. But so far, they haven't decied if they should have 3 Tier-Supers, 1 Super (and only 1 super) or 3 choice super. Yeah yeah, it seems that's what their doing. For all intented purposes, this is SFII's epilogue. Claw would be interesting, Guy would be too, unless Streetwise is canon, that would mean he would be running his gang now. BUT! Capcom said each game takes place in it's own little universe now! They threw their canon book at the out the window. The guy from Fist of the North Star owns the rights to everyone but Haggar apparently (according to a few sources, including former 1emuer Shin Nihon).

Naw, your just used to retardedly huge rosters. Because storyline wise, they were done. Finished. Out. Sim retired, Gief went back to Russia and danced, Dictator is dead so Guile goes back to his family, ditto for Cammy, ditto for Chunli too while were at it, Deejay is Deejay, Boxer took over Shadow after Dict died and ran it to the ground (GBASF2), Claw went back to being Pretty Boy/Serial Killer, Blanka is with is mom again, Fei-Long quit life, T.hawk went back home. Honestly, the only character whose story wasn't completeled was Sagat's. He never faught Ryu in SFII official. Hugo =/= Gief clone is so wrong. The only thing in common is that they have 360s and are grapplers. Incidentally, now SF3 is considered good now then it was back in 99. But hey, pursuists go "It sucks because it doesn't have X character" or "Parrying ruined the game." It's the same bullshit when people say A3 is the best SF game because of ISMs and has a huge roster. V-ISM broke the game, shut the hell up world. Because we all know quanity =/= quality.

It's still not a big up cry to what it was a year ago. You know their doing something right in their R&D if they brought down the fail rate of the units. Besides, most of the units being sent back are the much older units, which- ho ho surprise, make up most the 360 market!
