According to Sven, they aren't thinking about any consoles right now. Maybe they do want an arcade release in Japan to say the least. I'll take his word over gaf, but, I do say, at the resolution the first Ryu screenie put up is of any indication, it's that their taking the Wii and possibly PS2 as a possbility for console releases as well as the 360/PS3. The screenie is in 16:9 but not HD.

Wasn't Asuka a replacement for Jun Kazama? Yeah, but unlike Jun, Asuka goes down on the lists of being _effective_ to use. I should know, I have a disastourist record with Asuka (something like W175-L99, nothing too great, and nothing near my 4FT/5 Aoi). Leo, I think does Monkey kung-fu. Timeshift was pretty sweet. I loved it alot, especially since I could mess with time. Which was the big reason why I ranked it high. Also it gave off a really good "movie" vibe. A very typical and enjoyable action film with time travel that makes some sense.

And Asuka is still crap. Hurray! This is what I get for playing characters I like. I guess it's time to pick up D.Jin and rape.

So I went looking into that board you recommended Shib. Looks great but with a heafty price tag of 233 CAD. My limit is just about 900 dollars and that would of put me over. Unless I get a different video card or CPU. But I am still keeping my options open. If I do change CPU, would a 6x50 Core 2 Duo suffice my needs in both OCing and all around multimedianess?

For sure we'd be using SFIII3n.zip (Japanese No-CD Romset, need sfiii3.zip) and Mame++ 0.117 on Excellent connections. Beyond that it's all Syn. Word on the street is arcade version and the PS2 version got pushed back to Winter 08 citing Balance issues. Which means we might see the arc version first.

Well it's assumed it's hitting the arcades in Japan and just plain console releases else where. No confirmations have been said, but telling from the official screenshot. It could be Sys256 or Taito's Type-X board. As both can do Prog-Scan but not HD. Which raises the possbility that they consider it for Wii as well beyond the PS3 and 360.

I do believe Alchohal 120% supports burnig of cdi images, there is also an old CDI to NRG converter out there too.

...and Nintendo denied rumors of a DS redesign.... guess what they announced a couple of week(days?) later? But that's Nintendo though. Sega taking a huge risk for releasing another console would be suicide. UNLESS, it's a more buget minded Naomi board for the new generation (Not NEXT). Wouldn't be that surprising if they decided to retire NAOMI for DREAMCAST 2 arcade board, which would offer the same exact stuff as a Naomi 2 board but better overall.

There was a reason it got canceled you know. I loved the whole Andromeda series, 5th season has it's iffyness, Beka being the big female that created those Neitzschean is a huge WTF.

Incidentenally, it was that attitude that got CFAS canceled because everyone on the internet saw screenshots and complained how bad the game looked. I'm down with BK and inksauce. Not bad progress for being announced a few months ago and they have alot of time before the assumed release date to polish the game. As I said before, the trailer contained the art style and what we'd expect, so far their they've got the artstyle down from the trailer minus the okami-like brushes and it's on 2D fighting plane. Now we just need to wait for the EX Moves & possible CC meter stuff. The plus side is, Ryu looks better in game then in the trailer and the reverse happened with Ken
