  1. Yeah, he made a good point when he said that "nobody knows what's cool anymore". I'd say that's about right these days.
  2. yeah, I mean do they eat oranges peel and all in Italy or something?
  3. Mix all the potions into one mega-potion
  4. Well I still can't access either the mirc room or the webpage
  5. Sounds to me like someone other than gryphonclaw is doing all the bitching here
  6. I am. I must have tried half a dozen "random gamesurge server"s - and besides which, that still wouldn't explain why the whole website is down (for me at least)
  7. I can't get in either - mIRC just says "unable to resolve server" and gamesurge.net doesn't seem to exist any more!
  8. First place to look for anything emulation related is zophar's domain - http://www.zophar.net. I'm prettty sure they have a "plugins" section.
  9. I wish I could help because your avatar is so cool, but I don't really know what to suggest. Just download a whole heap of gpu plugins and try a few and see which one works best - if that doesn't work, tweak the graphics so that it is adjusted for minimum quality- and therefore maximum performance. Note that this is for project 64 - I havent used project tempest before.
  10. well it seems like everybody did pretty well. That's great to hear. GG everybody!
  11. ROFLMA(and other random body parts)O! That was hilarious!
  12. Umm...your post says "sexist gamer". Rofl, I was expecting a story about some chauvanistic dude, and instead a website devoted to exploiting women for computer geeks. Oh, the irony!
  13. Okay, everyone, thanks to the kindness of a certain Agozer, you can now download my song in all it's 256 kb/s glory, on Agozer's "other site with not so random stuff" - just look in his sig! The song is called "liquidadrenaline2.mp3, and for the lazy here's the direct link http://koti.mbnet.fi/agozer/liquidadrenaline2.mp3 Oh and remember, while I wrote all the riffs/programmed the drum sequences etc... EVERY sample I used in this song came from fruity loops - and that includes the voice samples
  14. Thats a damn good book imo. For that I know how to make Napalm with Styrofom and gasoline. Yeah I just downloaded it the other day (for pure historical reverence, you understand! ) But, it's freaky how many bomb and other random explosive recipes it has in it though.
  15. Given that it's around midyear, I take it that it's around the time of year when all uni/college/high-school students get their results. Seeing as alot of you guys are students, how did you go? For myself, I got distinctions in all my classes! I couldn't be happier about it! I hope all of you feel the same way about your results. Edit: just so you know what the hell a distinction IS, here's the grading chart for my university:
  16. Damn, I wish I could attach files on this board, because I want to attach a song I just made in fruity loops. Oh well, here's me hoping out loud if Agozer will let me put it in one of his sites with random stuff?
  17. I found a copy on limewire, but there'd probably be a copy on Kazaa. I just generally hate kazaa because of the packaged spyware though.
  18. I found it by following the link from the intro message on one of the dc++ hubs (I believe it was ERH)
  19. Probably because it's "fruity loops" - and its a retail product, so you can only dl a demo. Probably best to try to get it off p2p
  20. Hey! I didn't realise that one. Except there is a difference - the XP one just sticks to the top corner of your monitor, but the above program moves around with your mouse pointer. Oh well, I guess it's down to a matter of taste
  21. This is just a nice free program that magnifies a (specifiable) portion of your desktop. I went looking for something like this because I wanted to read "the weekend web" on something awful without squinting. If you have a use for it, download it and enjoy! http://freestone-group.com/magg.htm
  22. it was quite probably fruity loops, or if it wasn't, fruity loops is better anyway.
  23. Actually you made a good point there that I just realised - I hate the way that the war on Iraq has become a partisan issue. Like, people are supporting the war JUST because they're republicans. That should not be the case - just because someone has had a history of voting that way, they should not support and unjust and unjustifiable war.
