It's all right, we've got one of those goddamn things, a gst is a "goods and services tax", what that basically means is that in that country you have to pay a certain flat-rate amount of tax for each luxury item (but here they consider tampons a luxury item, now I think there's a few women that would disagree with the gov't on that classification). I believe you guys have (or used to have???) something similar with the VAT? Anyway, that doesn't affect you unless you live in a country that has the gst.

Note: if any other band had done it (apart from maybe the Sex Pistols) I wouldn't have given a dam. But DK on a COMMERCIAL??? NO WAY! the pistols did it in the late 90's "no future" was in a mountain dew commercial. WHAT???!!? Damn, my respect for the sex pistols just went down about 10 million percent.

Discworld Noir was freaking cool, it was a totally different feel from the other two games. It was like a 40s style dectective movie, only in Ankh Morpork! The main character and the majority of characters were new, but a lot of the discworld favourites are in there too, Nobby, Carrot and Vimes, for example, and Detritus the troll. You get to go to the temple of small gods, the Watch headquarters, etc.. etc.. Overall its a great game, but for anyone who hasn't played any of them and want to play one that "sticks to the script" (ie is closer to Discworld the way Terry Pratchett invented it), I recommend one of the others, especially Discworld 2, that game was AWESOME!

My mum just got me this free sample/publicity gift from this conference she went to - get this, it's a pen with a flash drive in it! The drive only has 30 mbs storage, but still that is so cool. You can just plug it in to any computer (if they have xp at least), and its an instant removable storage device! The pen kind of sucks though, but what do you expect? It was FREE!

Now they were some cool games! I've finished all of them, Discworld 1 2 and 3 (Noir).

Yeah, I used to like DK but then there was that big furore over the just jeans commercial. I now have a lot of respect for Jello Biafra, as he left the band over that, but the rest of the band... I would have to say the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Janes Addiction and Blue Oyster Cult are the four bands that have really made an impression on me as to the art of music, by exploring the limits of what you can do in such creative ways.

Yeah, those games are all good except I didn't like the control style of "Grim Fandango", where you walk yourself around with a keyboard (like the newest Monkey Island game). I much prefered the old-school point-and-click style. Did you guys ever play "simon the sorceror" 1 or 2?
