  1. Anyone else think Johnny Weir is a douche? Metro gay man on ice.
  2. Dude i'm Korean, you don't know metrosexual until you watch Korean television and/or Japanese television. Being metro is being normal over there. But I think more and more modern generations of young men are becoming more metrosexual. The styles and trends just perpetuate it - skinny, low-rise jeans and shit, pink becoming a cool color apparently, body hairlessness. And as we've talked about before, women apparently find feminine looking men more attractive when they're not ovulating.
  3. Damn son, get your own style at least if you're gonna plagiarize lol.
  4. I agree on controlling your mind and emotions, and not letting them control you. There are those in this world you won't be able to relate to very well. It's not a perfect world and we are not perfect human beings, this is the nature of being human. Try and exercise the inner wisdom in applying these fundamental facts to your everyday life, and maybe the burden may bear less on you. To give in to your lower faculties, which is what some of us are observing in this thread, is for you to let those that don't know any better affect you - invade your senses and let you defeat yourself. I don't think anyone can say they enjoy the idea of people controlling your life by being nothing but what they are, people; imperfect, obstinate, degenerate... though only one-half of the whole that makes us human. Look at the positive that exists in people even if you don't witness it, and realize its inside you too.
  5. Actually i'm not surprised Military people wouldn't be as mature. It is often such institutions where groups of men/women gather that your typical ball-busting, ethics-challenging, chest-bumping behavior manifests. And admittedly, I hardly hear people use the word "cantankerous" in common speech so if I heard it too I would think it was odd too. But I wouldn't haze a person for it.
  6. Lol nexttime just step out to smoke. Or on the deck/patio or whatever designated area they let you smoke.
  7. I used to work with a guy who had a second gig as a bouncer. Riko, he was cool. He'd always have a stash of snacks and peanut-butter filled pretzels that i'd eat.
  8. I remember the first time I met racism. I was walking to elementary school (private). Would've been no more than 8 or 9 yrs old, and while waiting at the stop light to cross the street, these two black girls who were older than me that attended the public school across the street just randomly called me a chink or some such reference. I hadn't said a word. But I don't hate anybody. I'll be the first person to commend you for not being stereotypical. Where do you live? I wonder if its where you live that has anything to do with it, but I recognize the confounded reality that people seem to enjoy an inherent maliciousness towards other people for no reason other than getting a kick out of it. Perhaps thats why i'm a quiet person, I don't like interacting with strangers for no reason because I am weary of the belligerence that I might bear witness. This is why friends are so important dude, and to a lesser albeit different extent, family. I have had the privilege of knowing my best friend since Kindergarten to this day and another since 5th grade. Do you have any real friends Devia?
  9. Justice League: Crisis On Two Earths Should've kept Kevin Conroy, and Ultraman sounds like a reject sopranos wop in tights. Would've liked to see more DC characters but still decent.
  10. ^Well its originally created for killing cows. Saves bullets.
  11. I just started a new job last week, with the same work I was doing. Nine hour days leave little time to play all the games I want to play. I wish I had a PS3. First I got a new PC, then a new tv over Black Friday so next up is def a console. Can't say i'm too bored though, even at work browsing the net here and there. Yo are you on a dialup em? Can you watch streaming video?
  12. The House Of The Devil. The girl is cute, was pretty good up until the end and it changes pace considerably and loses all of its suspense. And the guy from Robocop 2 is too soft-spoken trying to be creepy. It works in the beginning but not at the end when shit hits the fan. 7/10
  13. SSF4! And I don't own a PS3 or 360 yet. So... until I do, I won't list titles for that.
  14. Got drunk Friday night, drove home at 5am. Woke up roundabout 3pm Saturday, craved pancakes while hungover. Went to Ihop. Sunday I didn't do shit.
  15. The Gears of War characters are only on xbox 360. So it's more of a collaboration, bringing capcom titles to Xbox like Monster Hunter Frontier.
  16. ^Then what do you drink now? I mostly gave up soda when I started working like 3 yrs ago cuz we had a free soda machine. Too much is not good, plus ordering water for lunch doesn't cost anything. But the occasional Dr. Pepper goes a long way in satisfaction lol.
  17. I think dating sites are meant to do the work for you as far as finding a person worth dating. Back in the day, it was a matchmaker's job. Now it's a public business. But finding, getting and keeping the girl are three different things eh. Ken has a point. Very attractive girls know that they're attractive and won't settle for less than a guy who is equally attractive or with money or both. They reserve the right to have some romantic clout because of their appearance. In short, their vanity is their directive. Decent men should not date these women, nor should they maintain their own sense of vanity in looking for a partner. I'm from L.A., hot broads here are a dime a dozen. A quality woman doesn't mean she should look like a supermodel, which some men think they deserve.
  18. Well... can't say i'm not shocked. I personally don't think a vs game between Capcom and Microsoft would be that interesting. Perhaps an RPG or something might bring something dynamic to western gamers.
  19. ^I'm assuming Master Chief... uh isn't Gears of War Microsoft too? *scratch*
