  1. ^Nah myspace has died in popularity. Its still used, mostly by teenagers but facebook and twitter are the most popular social-networking sites. I was on facebook years ago when the myspace trend blew up and thought it was a better site but now that facebook has become mainstream i've lost interest.
  2. ^It's just useless. I don't whore the site updating it every hour with random, pointless stuff. I see some people on it constantly updating it with news or the latest discount sales or whatever, anything current and its like they feel more useful or special by doing this? I don't care about keeping in contact with the ppl on it because you really don't talk to any of those ppl and the only reason i'm still on it is to check on my gf.
  3. Not just tweens but those Goth, false-fang wearing, contact lens blood drinking "i'm a real vampire" people that turn the idea of vampires into circus freaks.
  4. The Cove. I dunno how many of you care about protecting species' and social movements - if I recall I posted clips about this film before and got a lot of indifferent responses - but this documentary is very good. I've watched a lot of documentaries the last few months... Addicted To Plastic, Food Inc., Second Skin, Earth 2100, and they're all good. I'd recommend them all to you guys, especially the first two. But The Cove was in and of itself better to me. Not because it had more facts displayed to educate us or profound imagery that grabs attention, but unlike the other documentaries involving habitat/species destruction, none encompassed the ordeal of human beings killing creatures you felt as though were intelligent, communicative and emotional ones - killing living creatures that are self-aware like us. That and it was more exciting overall because it involved espionage filming and highly skilled professionals taking part in risking their own safety. The situation isn't as simple as dolphin massacres taking place in a country largely unaware of its own animal slaughtering, but how it ties in to that whole country's global/economic position in the world fish market. They control it... and they are not relenting in their advances to overturn international laws against whaling and fishing in order to control and sustain their own financial gains. We already know about Tuna populations being decimated, Japan itself taking up nearly 70% of the world's Tuna consumption and now with shows like Whale Wars sending a message out about Japan's efforts in obscuring international treaties against whaling, to this. Dolphins, those animals your mother or sister talks about being their favorite animal. How does that small country get away with so much of the world's oceanic profiteering and exploitation? They are quite the imperialistic nation... I hope someone here watches The Cove. Call me a tree-hugger or liberal hippie if you like, whatever I couldn't be fucked by it but i'll ask anyway. Please watch it, if only just to be aware. As far as documentaries go: 10/10
  5. She's jealous your girl is hotter, still thats pretty low the hater lol.
  6. Guy looks exactly the same. I hope he has some new moves while his Bushin Musou Renge returns. Love Cody's laid back bum expressions lol.
  7. Cool. I like her shoulder/arm tattoo, nice color/pattern.
  8. Inglorious Basterds. Tarantino style is hard to describe. Those long, drawn-out, tense dialogues building up to a big climax... he has a lot of those in this movie and they're each engaging. And the best part, they're all in different languages. Makes the movie even more enjoyable because it adds a flair of sophistication, which is humorously contrasted with Brad Pitt's hillbilly drill-sergeant accent. One of Tarantino's best, better than Kill Bill imo. 9/10
  9. ^But it isn't just white people though, even for something to be funny nowadays it has to be utterly obnoxious or vulgar or completely absurd. Commercials getting more and more bizarre, movie comedies getting more and more ridiculous, its all tied together with young american people's stupid behavior lately. And let us know when your girl has new photos up bro, i'll vote again.
  10. ^Nice. I like Lisa better I think. Like Lisa Bella is catchy lol.
  11. where the fuck did that come from? C'mon man... you know this type of unethical behavior for the sake of just acting like jackasses for the hell of it is reflective of American youth nowadays. No offense to you, i'm American too, but I see kids acting this way, behaving like that show Jackass and watching MTV like its a religion and its disappointing. I'm disgusted in my own culture at times is what i'm saying. Anyway good luck to Bella Ciao on her career. Is Bella her real name?
  12. Fuck yeah, Cody and Guy! But damn, that 1920's striped jumpsuit lol... all he's missing is a ball-n-chain. I hope his alt. costume is an orange prison jumpsuit. And Adon, one of my favs from Alpha, I hope he's still fast.
  13. Whata bunch of pricks, like a fraction of them even have a woman. The internet and americans disgust me sometimes.
  14. Dunno if you guys have seen these, we all know them but damn they look good here: Mary Elizabeth Winstead Mila Kunis Amanda Seyfried Kristen Bell Summer Glau Jurnee Smollett Kristen Stewart Alice Braga Isla Fisher Kate Mara From Vanity Fair's Vanity Girls.
  15. There should be some ethics code for photoshop at some point.
  16. I want a fucking TV. If I could get a 42" for under $500 i'll be one happy camper.
  17. ^Lol you talk about Watchmen as if it was something unknown and pleasantly surprising its kind of funny. Dude, Alan Moore wrote Watchman in the 80's and its regarded as the best graphic novel ever written. The only comic book to win a Hugo Award. I'm kind of surprised considering Moore is British, I thought you'd be more familiar with the movie. Or maybe i'm just getting the vibe from your post that you were unfamiliar with it entirely before watching it when in reality you know a lot about it. Rorschach is definitely the best character in the story. .Jackie Earle Haley owned that character. Personally though I liked Ozymandias' character and portrayal by Mathew Goode, I thought he played a great ambiguous anti-villain. As for Night Owl, his depiction being Batman-esque wasn't an accident lol. That was completely intentional.
  18. I think it makes sense.. gaming is a luxary and considering they rival and often exceed major blockbuster movie productions in costs again, it only makes sense. Moore's Law stipulates that the number of transistors being inexpensively installed on integrated circuits doubles every two years in efficiency, size and speed while also reducing the cost of technology given the rate of the technology advancing. If cars behaved in the same way we would eventually have cars that could travel light speed and would be cheaper to buy a new one then have one fixed for malfunctions. However, Moore's Law is a business practice and while it's truer for PC hardware lowering in price relatively faster, consoles are a different matter because of the nature of the business in intentionally not replacing systems as often as PC's get upgraded. Console technology still advances pretty fast though. I mean I remember being on a psx a decade ago and now ps3's are supporting blu-ray and the graphics (while not the best) its come a long way and they will profit for this luxary they provide us with.
  19. He had all his settings pretty high, I guess with three monitors it takes its toll. Yeah it concentrates on the center but imagine being able to see everyone in a raid, never being snuck up on by gankers lol.
  20. ^Saw that. You thought Travolta was a good bad guy? I dunno man his high-pitched rants during the movie were kind awkward to me. He was a good villain in Face-Off but that was because of the character. He's been playing a bunch of "thuggish" hard-up villains lately in this movie and another upcoming cop movie he's doing and it just doesn't work for me. The movie was alright though. Pandorum. The story was pretty good. Something tells me the director has played Dead Space or something cuz its almost similar. The chick is hot. The problem I had with the movie and I don't know if it was the particular rip I downloaded or the movie in general but it's really dark throughout and hard to see because the visuals get pretty crazy with the colors sometimes. The sound was kinda screwed up too... I might have to redownload this one. 8/10
  21. Yeah i was watching video reviews and the Lancool looks like it has better tool-less design overall while the Tempest has better airflow. If I get the Tempest i'll consider spraying it black inside myself. I prefer the outside of the Tempest but the inside of the Lancool lol its always impossible to find a case with the perfect features exactly as you'd want them to the small details but i'm probably just splitting hairs for things like that as both are nice. I wouldn't do more than two video cards crossfire'd though, looking into the new 5770's and the Eyefinity feature. It's pretty sick if I could play WoW like this :
  22. $120 for an empty case is laughable. Companies pour $5-$10 worth of plastic resin in a mould/$5-$10 worth of aluminum shaped and even after factoring labor costs are making a tenfold profit off you because you had to have the "Cool looking" case. Bet you own a Honda Civic with underglow, a big system and a fart pipe too where the shit ON/IN your car is worth nearly as much as the car is huh? hehe Dude I drive a pilot lol. And so what if I pay a little extra for aesthetics, like you never cashed out a little for something based on that? I have to look at the damn thing all the time why wouldn't I want it to look good. As if i'm trying to make some kind of statement by paying to the business who puts out the product of the "cool looking" case i'm considering in contrast to you making a statement about them taking a profit off me. As if that isn't sanctimonious in itself being all "anti-establishment".
  23. This particular Lancool isn't that expensive – $120 before tax. It's got all black interior finish, three 140mm fans (front and two top exhausts) and one 120mm fan at the back compared to the tempest's four 120mm fans (two front, one side and one back exhaust) and two 140mm (top exhaust), e-sata port and no black interior for $10 less. So i'm not sure – i'm assuming the tempest has better airflow? The black interior finish is pretty nice though..
