Shin Gouki, is when he uses all his power The man behind SF2 and 3 left. The team wants to make a new one, with a completely new cast(or rehashes of SF3 and more new characters and FOR CHRIST SAKE, STORY thats CANONABLE!), then everyone will 8itch on why [character] isn't in the game. Christ, get over it, Chun-Li, Ken, Ryu and Gouki is all we need. Everyone else could go on with their lives (although seeing Cammy against Ibuki I would like ) K'dash, aren't u at SNK-Capcom.com too? Haven't u read the threads where TAS pointed out what's going on behind SF4? I said earlier it was slated for a 2005-07 release which was wrong, it's 2007-08. The story IS canonable, like I said at the end of Ryu's SF3:3rd Strike ending he goes into training under Oro's supervision. In SF4 he'll have a new look n new fighting style because of this training. And supposedly Ryu was the only returning pre-SF3 character to return. Now, I don't know if this news of the guy behind SF2 n 3 leaving was recent or before I read all this stuff at SNK-Capcom.com, but I haven't seen any threads stating him leaving, so I don't know when it happened. Anyhoo, i'm pretty sure I saw u on that forum too... I think.

heh heh...another down fall to of how ppl play here, if you were to do that and actually win (knowing that there's a whole mess of quarters laid out on the control panel symbolizing ppl waiting their turn to play the winner), you'd probably be kicked out of the arcade, yeah...apparantly we take it too seriously sometimes. Seriously, I usually see ppl there playing forever and the current champ on average has about 50 wins unbeaten ha ha, beat by 50... I eat local champs for breakfast That's what they all say.

Xenogears and Xenosaga are related, mentioned offically by the team. Square didn't want to publish the rest of the titles so they left for Namco. There are many reasons why someone would call it an Alternate Universe. But the team them selves said it is not, it is a prequal on how Gears became used more and more. In Xenosaga, they've placed many connections with Xgears, its not funny. Yes, I know there r many connections. I haven't followed the scene on XS for a while. When I did back when it first came out it wasn't official if the 2 games were directly related n we debated back n forth about it for days. I guess the team has made it official finally, which is great. That makes the overall series that much sweeter.

SNK chars can look deck and sexy and still whip your ass and have enough time to hit the club. chars on capcom need to stop shopping at sears and the discount rack @ JC penny and get with the program. Well we all have our preferences. There's nothing wrong with certain fighters dressing that way, but when the entire game is composed of all original n new characters doing it it's just lame.

You r incorrect. I dunno any links to it but i've gone through lenghty topics in other forums about SF4 with ppl who know all the details. It is in production n it's been slated for a release during Capcom's 20th anniversary, somewhere between 2005-2007.

LOL, surprisingly the only pop I really like is k-pop..weird huh? Otherwise I prefer alittle rap..not much though, and for the most part eh alternative, new rock..whatever you call it these days. I'll have to try out some of the suggestions, I tried figuring out that bit torrent stuff awhile back but didn't quite get what to do after installing it and kinda forgot I even had it till now. Bittorrent is a file-swarming application, which means u ul n dl at the same time. So the more ppl dl the faster it goes. It uses.torrent files to dl. All u have to do is click a torrent file of something u want to dl (like an anime episode) n save it to yur hd.

Xenogears n Xenosaga r related but not officially. Both games have been published by different companies but the same development team made both, n the games have too many themes that they both share to be strictly unrelated. Some say it's an alternate universe thing, others say it's an actual prequal, regardless of either circumstance those 2 games r related because it's just too uncanny not to be. Anway, don't forget about FFT! Loved the story in this game. Right under XG.

Well we obviously know where yur opinions lay with SC. However, just cuz u get 100% combo'd by Cervantes or Nightmare doesn't mean that's how it's played. And no, Tekken is NOT the same way. Because once u r well knowledged in that game, u know what moves ppl will use against u n what u will use against them. of course yur gonna lose if only know how to play with 1 character in a 3D fighter, because u don't know what the opponent yur playing against will do to u. In ANY game there's no such thing as a clear winner just based on who u choose, it depends on the person playing to pull through with whomever they choose. You obviously don't have enuff experience with games like Tekken or SC, otherwise u wouldn't be saying such things. Capcom has reused sprites for the clones, n so what? They're not trying to change Ryu's look because he was never an anime influenced strictly japanese pop-culture concept to begin with. His look has kept up with his reputation. And now that SF4 is rolling around, they r going to change his look based on STORY elements (he will have trained under Oro since SF3:3rd Strike n thus changed his fighting style + look). My problem with KoF has always been that none of that specific series' original characters look like real fighters. They're all anime-ish fashion models, they hardly mix up their conceptual style. Which is y i've always admired Capcom, they're more artistic n unique. An example of the kind of difference between what I see n what someone like u see is a character like Gill. Ppl like u always complain about Gill for obvious reasons, while I greatly admire his character, because again Capcom is artistic n not in yur strictly jap-anime sense. I like SNK, n the standalone series characters r great. It's the KoF original wack ass anime characters that r lame, especially Kyo. Fighting in a highschool uniform, get real. At least Iori keeps up with his reputation, he doesn't need to change his look.

I agree, FFVIII is a damn fine game. AHAH! Even MORE unexpected rarities. I really liked FFVIII too. Oh the beauty... *sniff* I liked Vagrant Story too, it's very unique with the way it plays. I beat it tho, I wish they made a sequal with fresh graphics etc.

SC is knowing how to use the characters respective weapons. The game is a test of knowledge, because it's mixing up yur moves, countering n overwhelming yur opponent that makes the game skillful.

yes sega's VF series is slower paced. that's the point, it's not a button mashers game, like most other 3D fighters. It's more like chess. and it can get pretty fast paced. if you don't believe me get some videos of the best pai and lao players, it can go from "round one" to "game over" in a heartbeat. although I holeheartedly agree with you about capcom but we'll never convince those SNK fanboys J/K guys don't flame me with your l33t orochi powers. heheh Who really cares which is better n which isn't, as long as we enjoy what we experience. Capcom makes the better 2D fighters in my opinion, but SNK has Terry... 'Nuff said. ur right but i like terry's desgin in the mask of the wolves Ya, I like both his looks. Just like I like Ryu's old look n probably his new one in SF4 too.

I'm really glad they brought Lee Chaolan back in Tekken 4. He's dripping in style, a mothaf'ing PIMP! But that reminds me, talks of 3D fighters. Soul Calibur is much more fun than both Tekken n VF. Anyone can play that game n have fun.

i ono bout that one dude. i mean, a guy with a cat head, lizards, bears... yeah...i respect what u are sayin tho, mah frens love tekken. The cat head symbolizes King's Mexican wrestling heritage, so it's not stupid. The lizard was genetic experimenting by Mishima Corp., run by Heihachi. The bear is for comic relief, originally inteded to kill Paul Phoenix, now he's just there for fun. Both games r good, I simply prefer Tekken cuz it's more stylish than VF4. But I do decree... VF4 is much more impressive besides those aspects. Still, it's not like sequals wont change in the future.

VF4 is a better 3D game for it's controls n graphics, but Tekken's got the better story n characters.

I don't like GG.

They're still newb. but they still make better fighting games than just about every company out there. and sammy doesnt make the games. arc system works does. That's a matter of opinion.
