Can someone PM me the link to the standalone please? I would PM the appropriate people myself but I can't PM anymore (I used to be able to). Has something changed regarding PM rules?

I think the filtering should be based on resolution. i.e I find games like "ghost and goblins" (256x224), "black tiger" (256x224), "wonder boy" (256x224) need it. So maybe "256x224" could be the threshold resolution?

BP, out of "Anisotropic" and "Linear" filtering, which gives better performance? My guess is that "Linear" filtering with a flicker filter set to "0" would (less computationaly expensive), is that correct? Also, do the metal slug games have a touch of slowdown? or is that the way they are meant to be.

For older low resolution games (Black Tiger, Ghost and Goblins etc), I set Minification and Magnification filter to "Linear" and set Flicker Filter to "0" (off) so that they appear less blury

To ressurectionx, After reading some of your posts on this thread and the xbox-scene "Mameox128 - Working Romset Project" thread, you have got far more than you deserved (i.e the arcades source) even after insulting BP. I'm sure alot of other people in BP's position would have replied in a much harsher manner than he did ...

Mamedox arcades is the reason I recently bought an XBOX, so thankyou BS for all your efforts to date. The few roms I wanted that were not included (Super Hangon, Football Champ, Rainbow Island Extra and various others) I added myself, rescaned and they work great (Please dont take this feature out!). One possible suggestion/improvement: *) For some of the older lower resolution games (Black Tiger, Wonder Boy etc) I find they look better with the Scaling Filter set to "AdvanceMAME Scale 2x", but the new games suffer to much slowdown with the option. Any chance of setting these video options per game? Tough choice between C and D. Video preview would be nice but I think the menu is pretty good anyway. I would rather have one emu that plays all the top/good games as glitch free as posible. C gets my vote. In any case, Mamedox Arcades is quality piece of software and looking forward to Arcades 2.0
