getting back into oblivion shivering isles. before that, skate and random pc stuff like fairway solitaire, diablo II and neverwinter nights II. the lack of xbox360 releases has me pretty restless.

all this talk made me jump back in the shivering isles.

I'm calling slower loads and slightly worse textures on the ps3 version. 3 dvds on the xbox360.

as long as my GHII guitar works. I don't care about the rest. its good to see they are playing nice though. all periphals should work with both games. most gamers don't have the space or money for 2 or more full instrument sets.

I love Oblivion. it is very western/D&D based. it's alittle dumbed down from Morrowind. I suggest you find a copy of morrowind for PC and give that a try first. it should be easy enough to find. then if you like morrowind you know you will like oblivion. but if you start playing morrowind you may forget all about oblivion and just keep playing that. Morrowind is a top tier wRPG for sure. edit: w00t that was my 3500th post!

well if you expected a 3/4 view and turn based rad scorpion fighting then yeah this isn't good. but I don't much care for that style and if this is oblivion in a post apocalyptic world with guns then sign me the hell up.

on the first read through I totally missed netflix support. thats pretty sweet.

It would be good if you're like me, and you won't start playing another game (If it's good) until you finish the one you started. I hate playing a game over the course of weeks, and waiting for the damn thing to load every time I start my console up. I have a tendency to switch between games a lot. I lose interest pretty quickly if the game isn't AAA in my mind. little things that are annoyances to most are deal breakers for me.

lol. Xbox has official ipod support. so I see no problem there. the game is wack as hell anyways so I don't see the need to port cutscene solid over. FFXIII is a nice little slap in the face though. I've said it before and I'll say it again. the only thing that will remain exclusive on either side are first and second party titles. it just costs to much to make and market a game these days to get all your money back+profits on one console.

you might be surprised and get decent games from across the globe. ggpo has great netcode.

looks interesting. I wouldn't be using the install option. there's hardly any room on the HDD as it is. and until MS charges a reasonable price for bigger drives.. flock it.

there are a few nice ones on there. Social Distortion - I was wrong, is on of my all time favorites Dinosaur Jr - Feel the pain, not the dino jr song I would pick but it's cool maybe dino jr will get some fans out of it. Billy Idol - White Wedding = flocking win

other then the blue turban. there is zero similarity. and the turban is a stretch. as the prince is wearing a loose blue and red turban and that he/she from DQ9 is got a traditionally wrapped turban.

have you tried cleaning it? with one of those dvd cleaning discs. if that doesn't work take that sucker apart and clean the lens with alcohol and a q-tip. cleaning the little plastic disc and magnet that spin the games. you have nothing to lose. it doesn't work and is out of warranty. seems like a no brainer to me.
