if you say "more awesome then the first Matrix" that holds a lot of weight. when you say " more awesome then the Matrix trilogy" that's like saying "more awesome then eating a bucket of rancid bananas covered in fruit flies" The Matrix as one stand alone movie is brilliant. as a trilogy it's bullshit covered in rotten eggs. I read many years ago the the wachacaca brothers actually stole the script for the first one. and wrote the others themselves. Which would explain the difference in quality.

I'm waiting for a decent copy to hit the net. I don't pay 10 bucks to see a movie.

my connection is not super. averaging between 10 and 20mb down and never more then 1mb up. I just played Trine and it was just as if it was installed locally. I'm sure performance has a lot to do with distance to the server. I doubt they have a server here in my town. Prolly 75 miles away in Riverside. anyways color me impressed. there isn't anything available on the service that isn't available on XBox or PS3 as of right now so it's unneeded for me. If they would throw some PC exclusives that required more horsepower then I have here I'd be a paying customer.

played a few games in trial mode today. and I really didn't notice any lag at all. Played Batman AA, Borderlands and FEAR2. I don't know how it will go with multi-player right now. but for single player on a crap PC it was like I was playing on a good rig. The Mouse seemed jumpy and oversensitive in Borderlands but I don't know if that is normal for that game and I didn't try to adjust the sensitivity. I wouldn't give up my XBL and physical media but as a rental system for PC exclusives I will keep it around.

Assassin's Creed II is so much better then the first one.

it looks fine to me. a far cry from the old palate swap ninjas of old. Sub Zero, Scorpion and Reptile all look different. This is a fan service game, so of course it's gonna throw back to the glory days.

get this... I was playing ROMS today! OMG! OMG! Naomi roms to be exact, MvC2, CvS2, and Ikaruga. I didn't even know Naomi was emulated. but I ran across Makaron today so gave it a shot.

Predators - Meh, it was alright I guess. The Betrayed - it was pretty decent Finished season 1 and half way through season 2 of Deadwood. - I love this fuckin' show.

if you were running an operation like that, would you hire someone on the recommendation of another guy who had never really met the first guy? with out an interview? or references? I dunno, I am just playing devil's advocate here. I'll bet it is a great opportunity. but after I talked to Will it raised questions for me and I am not even considering it. Let me tell you a story. I have a friend who was working high end security at a casino. he's a likable guy and very smart in protection jobs. well this rich guy takes a liking to him. always requests my friend when he comes to the casino. after a while he offered my friend a job. sounded great, big money. a car and free apartment in Oregon. no real interview, no paperwork. just a handshake and vague job description. well he gets up there and guess what? the guy was a Mobster running a prostitution ring and my friend was supposed to be "security" for the Ho's. needless to say, he ran the risk of getting into serious trouble and didn't stay up there very long. I'm not saying the china thing is anything that shady. but you have to be careful and protect yourself in these kinds of things. Originally I was all for Will getting in to this. but as I heard more and thought about it. I'd pass myself.

I talked to Will a few days ago and he still did not have the company name. nor a solid idea of what exactly he would be doing. no job interview, no application, no background check, nothing like that. I'm sorry but if I am running an operation bringing people from USA to China I'd have to know a lot about them and their backgrounds. Not just plucking people off internet forums....
