I'm already seeing some of the mtn dew ones on ebay going for 1000 and up.

bestbuy walmart and target don't take preorders. so camping out one of those stores could net you a 360. check my post for the unit count for all US bestbuy stores. Gryph if you get one and I don't I may take it off your hands with a finders fee of course

true, it's not like we can't play those games via emulator or cheap systems from ebay. I like the way things are now. high end games and teh option to play those classics on the cheap.

let me suggest that you make a bios that has the flashBIOS from xecuter in bank one and the latest xecuter bios in bank two. then you can reflash from bank one whenever you want with out using a programmer.

flashcards are a pretty hefty outlay of money Gryph. you'r looking at between 70 to 200 bucks to play homebrew and roms on a gba or ds. for a quick fix I'd just go get a used gbaSP and a few games used.

been playing Farcry instincts for xbox. I never played the PC version so I dunno how it compares but it's ok. not without its annoyances though, like you can't skip the intro, everytime you start the game you have to sit through a 3 or 4 minute intro. stupid stupid stupid

version changer doesn't work with GTA. niether does swapping discs. if you want GTA, you have to upgrade and I am not doing it. I wouldn't use anything from WaB/SxT if my life depended on it, damn scamming crybaby bastards.

I have a xecuter 2.6ce, it's a fine chip, the xecuter3.0 is really only worth it if you wanna install an lsd screen and all that jazz. I have softmodded a few xboxs for friends who didn't want to lay out money on a chip and they are plenty happy with thier softmods. so really it's up to you. if you decite to softmod go get a used memory card and a breakaway cable, should cost you like 30 bucks total, then use the breakaway cable and an old usb cord to make a usb adapter for an xbox controller, download the action replay software from thier site. and BAM you have an action replay to transfer the exploit to memory card. it's not hard and cheaper then a chip.
