yep softmods are nice now. I softmodded my sisters new xbox cuz she didn't want to void the warrenty. no problems with it in 3 or 4 months. as for the xboxs durability, I dunno. I hear about alot of problems. but I've had my xbox for 3 years with no problems at all. I even have the "crappy" thompson drive.

The way to win in fire pro is to time your attacks. This isn't button mashing style, that will get you NO WHERE. NO WHERE I TELL YOU. You must do Weak Attacks/Grapples -> Medium Attacks/Grapples -> Strong Attacks/Grapples in that order to ware out your opponent. Yes it takes to learn because this game is VERY VERY deep in terms of gameplay and technicality. Yes you are bound to get owned. But it's by far the best wrestling system to date. If ever. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm starting to get the hang of it. it took about 20 or so matches before I was able to win via submission. I can see how this system is great. I see stuff in this little 16bit game that you can't find in todays wrasslin' games. it's my new favorite snes game!

I rarely have to go chasing girls, I get plenty of attention. you can imagine how that causes problems with the wife :\

2 year season sounds good I really want something more like a random season generator. where I have more control over alliances and feuds. one thing I hated about hctp is I set a stable right at the begining of the games then was forced into tagging with stonecold. what I want is to really be able to start a feud dynamicly not just what is set in the story. like attack a chosen character in the back, cost them a match, and talk trash to bait them into a feud. or have the option to go out and help someone in order to start a friendship. and angle maker would kick butt too. ahh well I can dream can't I? I'm on irc on occasion, nowhere near as much as I used to though. but if I log on and see you there suvo, I would disconnect right quick.

the more I've been looking in to this the better it looks. I think I am in. as for psp the scene is getting choked by sony's firmware updates. so right now it's go with homebrew and limit what games you can play (it's almost certain new high profile games will force upgrade) or upgrade and lose homebrew. so far I am sticking with homebrew. but If the gpx2 is priced right it will become my main portable machine. it's already announced to handle more audio and video codex then psp. and SD cards are so much cheaper then memory sticks. I'm pretty much sold on this thing if it can be had for under 200 bones.
