yep this place is kinda like the cheers bar! it's nice because we are small enough to all know each other but have enough members to rarely get boring. those big sites have a bajillion mambers and it's hard to feel like part of the community. and whether GC likes it or not, I think the hardcore members here have evolved this place into more then just an emulation site.

I basicly play SF3 like it was SF2 but prettier. I don't try to parry anything exept fireballs and jump kicks. but I always get some random parrys too. I was better at the alpha counter system for some reason.

I knew this was coming! there was no way I was going to take a chance on the swap. but I'm DLing some files to try this out now. i downloaded one of those precompiled emu packs and I have tested pcep (tg16 emu) works nice Nesterj works nice genesis locks up my psp megadrive works snesx works nice good stuff. untill sony makes us update firmware to play GT4 or GTA

I got some wireless headphones, a wireless logitech xbox controller and a dvd of my favorite music festival The Hootenanny along with the usaul cards and home made gifts from the kids this year! I did pretty well for myself, no ties or socks for me heheh. If I were in contact with my father I'd prolly give him a punch in the eye for fathers day.

I'd still say atari set forward the model for the way console makers do buisness.

nintendo didn't start console gaming retard, History lesson time for the kiddies on January 27, 1972, Magnavox launched the Odyssey video game console. also in the 70's and early 80's we see atari, coleco, fairchild and rca systems aplenty. it wasn't untill 1983 that the Famicon was released in Japan. and 1986 until it was widely released in the USA as the NES. hot on it's heals was the Sega Master system. this is considered the 4th generation of consoles. from that point on the big N has been beat to market by it's competitors with every new generation release.
