yes Islands is awesome it's prolly may favorite place to eat around here. I like how they don't play sports on the TV in the bar, instead they always have surfing or skateboarding vids playing the Chili's around here is pretty good. but I may just be biased because of the supahot bartenders and the presedente margaritas are oh so good.

when I say "upper tier" I mean from fast food joints I've never been to a fruddruckers. basicly if I can get a burger and a beer it's better then McDonalds places I like around here to eat. johnny rocket's, ruby's. islands, chili's, applebee's, places like that.

yeah the shipping is gonna be more then the part itself. I broke a pinheader while installing my sisters modchip. and I used a straigt pin to replace the broken pin. it works to this day

I always like to hear about the ones that come from nowhere and are first announced and shown at e3 so I wonder what will pop up this year.

you can make an xbox iso with craxtion. then burn that to disc.

heh thats funny. and the walmart "no diggity" thing is total comedy. as far as burgers go I like the burgers at the upper tier resteraunts better. where I can get a beer or mixxed drink with my food. Anyone ever been to a Johnny Rocket's, or Ruby's? really nice old school style.

the thing is the marketing doesn't have to focus on hardcore gamers. we already know all about the next gen systems and we've been following them for months. it's those casual gamers who don't read tech specs and buy magazines that are teh target of a campaign like this.

the fifth disc is full of yaoi of cloud, seperoth, and the lion. have fun with that, ff fanboys.. remember what the noble Ulimate Warrior said to students at UCONN recently. "queerin' don't make the world work" (yes he really said that)

mtv will play the crap out of the spot for teh upcoming weeks so you can bet alot of the casual gamers will get thier first look at a new system from that. and the first console these casual gamers are going to see is an Xbox360/2/next/xenon/whateva I say it's a good play on MS's part.

the hdd thing is still so up in the air. I read at xbox-scene a few days ago that a juiced up version of halo 2 will come preloaded on the xbox harddrive. and that a 120 gig hdd may be available with preloaded software. (the story is still available on the main page of xbox-scene but could get pushed off with the next couple of posts.) I guess we'll know more about the xbox 2 hdd soon, after the mtv spot airs.

I'm sure as soon as the show airs the captures will be all over the net so no need to corrupt ourselves with mtv.

I was never into the vampire savoir games untill I got the dc compilation. I still never play the roms. what I like about this is that it seems Capcom is putting some faith in it's old 2d fighters. maybe we can expect more compilations like this in the future!

I can see your point now about the money/internet strain angle of this. But I still stand by my opinion that 9 years is crazy. do you have any idea how much it costs to house an inmate? in california the yearly cost for 1 inmate is 30,930 dollars. if he serves the whole 9 years (unlikely) it will cost tax payers about 278,370 dollars. now I don't know what state he or if he was prosecuted on the state or fed level. so those numbers are only estimates based on teh california state prison system.
