yeah the warrenty is an issue, umd movies are region encoded but the games are not. so if you wanna get the umd movies you'll have to import those as well. from what I understand the language can be set to english so no problem there. last I looked on Ebay there were still american PSPs to be had for retail price. really it just depends on if the warrenty and umd movies are important to you. but if you import you have the crazy shipping costs. I'd check with some retailers in your area first. there have been alot of reports of stock in walmarts, bestbuys, ect.

But PSP does all of those and it looks good doing so, no matter if gets owned in those categories by other products. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So 1GB is good for everyone. Poor saps, getting ripped off with expensive Sony memory sticks. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 1gb sandisk memorys sticks can be had for about $130USD. not bad IMO. the sony ones are much more. Ipod = $150USD Creative jukebox media player = $450USD power pc = dunno couldn't find it via google but mobile webbrowsers like pdas, blackberry and sidekick go for between 250 and 500 bucks Low end total is around $850 and we are still not counting any portable gaming in there, add another 100 to 200 bucks for a nintendo product and game. for that you can set yourself up real good with a psp, games, and a few 1gb mem sticks. as an all in one I think it's pretty awesome. my mp3 cd player with a 650 MB cd full of mp3s is quite abit of music, more then enough to get me through a day. so adding 200+ MB of music to that is enough for me.

it was hard for me to get used the dualshock when switching from the original ps1 pads. I've never become fully comfortable with analog sticks. too many years of non-analog pads I guess.

sure it didn't happen exactly as I described but the point is it happened. it's something that happens to everyone at some point. yeah it is scarring but it makes for a funny story later on down the road. heheh the kid should be glad it was his mom and dad and not his mom and ron jeramy. lol

with a 1gb stick it is so much more then an ipod! sure an I pod hods more music but with the movie, game, and now web browsing ability. who would want a ipod. hey gamecop this should be sticky methinks.

yep I still haven't seen a psp commercial. but also remember it is a long holiday weekend, that could have something to do with low sales. (along with the price) software wise I think sony had a better launch then Nintendo. once people see these things from friends and at school/work they will be in line though.

I dunno if I was ever really heavy into emulation. I came here when I was setting up all my emus on my xbox and I liked the people so I stayed. I go weeks without booting up an emulator. and when people ask me my hobbies I never say "Emulation!" it's just another way for me to play games, that's the way I look at it. really this site could turn into a bidets forum and as long as the core people stayed active I'd be here. I hardly ever visit any of the other parts of this board besides Current Affairs, Spam, PC Help, and occasionaly the Xbox section.

I'm a good looking dude. but some would say I am not due to not liking my tattoos or whatever other dumb reason they have. but they always comment on how hadsome I am, why would I want to mark my body, bleh bleh bleh. I've never had problems with girls though. Unlike Aztec Soldier I don't have any "game", but that never stopped me.

I was hard core skirt chasing by the time I was 14. by 20 he should be comfortable around girls unless he has gone to an all boys school all his life. I'm not talking about "the thingy with a girl" as Hapu puts it, but he should have already had female friends seen some hot women, seen a thong before. ect. it seems to me there is more then we are hearing, Ijust hope Hapu doesn't get hung up on this one unreachable girl. he needs to gain his experiance and "sew his wild oats" as it were.
