I guess it just depends. the gamestop, walmart and best buy where I live are sold out untill the next shipment that I heard is in mid to late april. but the toys r us had plenty of systems. *shrugs* the site I ordered from shipped it after I told them to cancel so now I have an extra. if things get crazy on ebay I may put it up and make a profit. if not I'll pull a switcharoo with toys r us.

Wipeout: Pure it's like WOW!

now that I was able to get some time in with my psp I gotta say I am happy. money well spent. wipeout pure is what gaming is all about. the movie playback is awesome (umd, I haven't tried it from the memstick yet, gotta get a gig memory stick.) sound quality is great (but I am not an audiophyle like K' and wierdy lol) no dead pixels on my unit either. I got about 5 hours of battery time on the first charge. that was playing wipeout, watching spiderman 2, and looking over the sampler content. (lords of dogtown is gonna rock, youngsters get your skating history lesson.) like I said money well spent. don't think of it as a handheld gaming system. it's an mp3 player, portable movie viewer, and plays games. hell try to pick up all three of those items for less..... I don't think you can.

so my order still hasn't shipped grrr. I went to toy's r us to get the kids easter stuff this morning and they have stacks of PSPs over there. I went ahead and baught it there. now I am canceling my order, if they don't cancel it I'll have to do the old switch return heheh. haven't played it yet. gotta go to work in a few.

well I broke down and ordered one. hopefully they ship it today or tomarrow for some psp love on monday! the bundle I got comes with twisted metal and darkstalkers. 350 usd shipped next day air. well MS has NOT been successful at making any of thier products more secure so I am not really worried. lol

remember we talked about this in irc. the model number was on the original case. I lost it. anyways every once in a while it will spin a disc fast enough to read. and I still play Macross on it every once in a while.

fanboys...... j/k I have a ps2! the only problem is it is a piece of crap I got it about 6 months after launch and it started to act up right after the warrenty ran out, DDE's then the tray refused to open and close. so I installed a fliptop to get around the tray. a few months later it wouldn't even spin a disc fast enough to read it. all this while still getting a healthy dose of DDE's when it was working with teh fliptop.

halo 2 holy crap I had no idea the game actually gets pretty good after the arbitur (sp) level

maybe a bad image or you might need a hdd patch. I dunno I don't have that game.
