yeah I seen this one, pretty dumb. the game was something like GTA3 the whole point of the game was to run down a hooker in a car then beat her till you get her purse. the big shocker was the tough white cop's son played that game all the time!!! OH Noes!!!11ONE I only like SVU when Ice T and Richard Belser have big parts.

darkfader claims hyperds runs commercial roms now. I haven't been able to find the leaked emu so I dunno.

thats the thing I get the feeling Foley want's to be the "bill gates" of emulation, I read another quote of his that he would tirelessly shut down all rom and emu sites. he wan't to ge the only game in town. when you think of it that way it makes sense he would try to get the copyright on mame. then his company (ultracade) would be the only game in town and he could shut down countless emu sites and emulator developers edit in -> found this quote:

I am surprised this hasn't been discussed, I can find next to no info on it but apparantly david foley (the dude that tried to copyright MAME) is going to launch a service much like itunes in that you would pay a fee to download licenced roms. here's the main bit of info I've found: both quotes from retroblast and this: now is this good or bad? would it be good or bad if it was someone else launching the serice? I think Mr. Foley has shot himself in the foot already and the emulation community will have nothing to do with it. but there are always newcomers who don't know what has been happening so I can see the iROMS service working if handled right.

I'll just continue to do it by hand. if I don't play it it doesn't have a screenshot cluttering up my HD.

that's exactly what I am planning if I had an sp already I wouldn't even be considering it. but I am in the market for a handheld so I might as well get the best I can afford.

that's sad but I don't see how it would reflect badly on the mpaa, he was old, he had a heart attack, he died. it happens. it's not like the mpaa stipped him naked and dragged him around on a leash or something......

just make em your self. in mameox when the game is running. I think you click in the right thumb stick. I know it is in the help screens in mameox. once you take a screenshot mameox will automaticly use it.

when both handhelds were announced I was firmly behind the psp. I would get a psp but the price is just too much, I won't even pay 250+ for a ps3 or xbox2. when the price comes down to exeptable ranges I will get the psp. I need something in the mean time. I was going to get an sp but I figure why not get a ds and I can play gba games until the ds lineup picks up. oh man I just put out my cigarette in my fresh can of pepsi

I am getting my ds this weekend, I can only afford 1 games right now unless they have some used I may be able to get away with 2. right now I am leaning towards mariods or urbz but what are your opinions? it's got to have high replay value since it will be the only game I have for the system for at least 2 weeks besides the metroid demo and gba games I borrow form my nephew till I get my linker.

damn, I am still getting my DS this weekend. this is from the end of tha article: nintendo should ask sega about this. it's too soon for another handheld in my opinion. let the DS mature some. at $99usd I don't see how the system could compare to the psp or ds. either the price is totally wrong, (like price speculation on the psp a few months back) or it will be a redesigned slightly upgraded sp.

it's wierd, I tried again and the page kept going batty. then I opened up IE (ewww) and tried and it went fine. maybe I messed up my firefox somehow...... I'm going to delete my live bookmark in firefox and see if that was it. edit in -> deleted the live bookmark, shutdown and restarted firefox and..... nope firefox is still doing it without the live bookmark.

when I try to go to my gmail the page goes wonky. the status at the bottom goes from loading to done to loading to done for ever.... this happens id I use my direct link to my inbox, the gmail notifier, or just type in www.gmail.com edit in => I just realised this should be in pc help so if someone wants to move it .
