this is pretty sad but my friend when we were teenagers, his dad was dieing from liver damage due to drinking. so the Dr. and his family forced him to stop drinking (why I dunno the damage was already freaking done, the dude was dieing, why make him go through withdrawls too) but the old man would go through 2 bottles of listerine a day. I knew what was going on but his family was alittle nieve.

well I found a little program that works, kinda an anti climax tho. it is a k6 with 256mb ram and a 6 gig harddrive struggling hard to run xp. lol only the cd writer and nic were worth saving :\ but I have a handy little boot cd if I ever need to get into a pc with a "forgotten" pasword

so my mom just picked up an ibm aptiva from a yard sale, she figured she could rape it for parts if it didn't work. well she booted it up and it seems to be fine but the login screen is passworded. anyone know of a way around it or a way to wipe the password out completely? if not I am just gonna take out the HD, format it and install 98se. but I'd like to see what is installed on it and keep xp if possible.

before you buy a converter. you can make one yourself. with a usb cable (from a mouse or whatever) and a breakaway cable from the xbox pad. there is plenty of info around the internet and it is really easy. basicly all you do is match up the colored wires and either solder or twist and tape em up. there will be one wire left over just leave it. then download the software from here: http://redcl0ud.hostrocket.com/xbcd.html that's really all there is to it and if you have an old usb cord and xbox controller around already then it will cost you nothing. if not then a new breakaway or extension cable is like 3 bucks and some cheap usb mouse for 10 bucks and you are in buisness.
