  1. I heard doom 3 and hl2 were being held over for xbox 2 don't know if that is true or not just read it somewhere.
  2. it's pretty sad that has to be a new years resolution for you.............
  3. give up smoking crack heheh j/k nothing I really want to change or give up so no resolutions for me
  4. I know this is an evil bump but is this eric with 2 unnamed yahoo's under the cream banner or is ginger baker going to be involved? guitar gods = eric clapton, SRV, hendrix, jim heath, brian setzer, ect, ect.
  5. dude I got a thompson and I don't know what people are complaining about. sure it only reads cd-rw but it reads every dvd-r I've thrown at it. my sisters phillips drive won't read 80 percent of my discs. I still haven't figured out what dvd-r brand to get for her xbox. I hear the philips only reads dvd+r if so that sucks
  6. does it? I got it for my son for christmas. he loves sonic.
  7. yeah I read mad and cracked too when I was a kid
  8. I doubt it lol it's like capcom and snk everyone has an opinion and they can't be swayed. I am sure K' will show up and bash 4+ hour play time lol.
  9. ur not alone, i've neve heard of him either, but from what u guys said, he seems to be good, so i'll download some of his songs <{POST_SNAPBACK}> that's because he had alot of his hits before most of the people on this board were born. lol if you don't like oldies style rock then don't bother with setzer but if you like big band swing, americana or rockabilly, then you should already know brian setzer sooo........
  10. 15 bucks to play.....damn. thats pricey. even with a month free figure 11 months is $165.00 plus price of game puts one year of play at over 200 smackers. no thanks I'd rather save that money for a new console.
  11. I figured it was old news but I hadn't heard of it so I wanted to share it. I played it for a little while last night, pretty much how I remember the PS1 version exept it runs a bit choppy on my machine, not from running slow but running to fast and the frame limiter makes it choppy, when I turned off the limiter it ran smoth but too fast.
  12. I want to play this game but I can't justify 50 bucks for a game and 10 bucks to play it. and I don't have enough time to be messing with an mmorpg. but from what I have heard and seen of the beta it looked vary interesting.
  13. sounds alot better then what was originally thrown around. I don't see myself using wifi to often and that seems to be the major power draw. how often do I play a game for 4+ hours? not to often. the PSP is sounding better and better to me as I think about it and read stuff. I may actually get one of these next year. who knows , as long as thier is a car charger/adapter I'd be fine. off to find the us release date..........
  14. http://www.rockstargames.com/classics/gta.htm worked for me if not google gta free it's the first result
  15. sega did that alot in japan, there was the samsung and hitachi saturns and a jvc megadrive/segacd combo I think they had one other "electronics" company makeing megadrives too.
  16. click "go here" in the first post
  17. this is prolly old news to some but I just found it. rockstar is giving away the original GTA just GO HERE and sign up I used bogus info so don't worry about that. you'll get an e-mail with a link to the game it's 336 mb but the speed is good. they are also giving away another game, wild metal but I've never heard of it.
  18. todays lesson: don't sleep in the dumpster the night before trash day.
  19. yeah I knew about this one there is also a hitachi one that kicks ass hard core.
  20. prolly just me and you heheheh. my evox skin is betty page.
  21. I guess you don't like tall redheads with hourglass shape and fishnet stockings.......... she was pretty hot and the other blonde back up singer was good looking too but all the pics I have with her in them are fuzzy or too dark. there were some awesomely hot betty page wanna-bes in the crowd too.
  22. I played a little bit of guilty gear isuka. meh, I say thumbs down for now.
  23. here are a few pics I took at the brian setzer concert I went to on the 17th. over all it was a good show with the first part consentrating on christmas tunes and a few brian setzer orchistra songs (blue christmas, jingle bell rock, dirty boogie, jump jive and wail, ect) middle part of the show was the real deal with the horn section leaving the stage and a standup drum kit moved out on stage for a lot of old stray cats and other rockabily standards played straight up. (stray cat strut, rock this town, rumble in brighton ect) then the show ended with the horn section returning for a cool rendition of the ventures pipeline, the nutcracker suite and a few more big band numbers. over all I had a great time. met and talked to alot of kool people. and the drinks weren't too pricey. after the show we sent to a club and I seen an old friend who I used to work with, working security at the club. so I didn't have to pay a cover
  24. enjoy your break guys, If I were still in school I'd prolly take the tyme to go snowboarding & play games.
  25. you might want to think about a barebones kit as a starting point they are usually a case, power supply, motherboard & processor. then all you have to add is ram, HDD drives, cd/dvd drives, gfx card and sound card. that's how I built my first PC and it takes some headache out of matching up a mobo and processor. just remember to get extra cables for drives and such. (I like those round air flow ones as opposed to the ribbon style) the link wierdy gave earlier has some good barebones (including those super sweet shuttle cases) EDIT IN-> Here is a good littel guide about building a PC.
