A few people have mentioned bubble boy and I just seen it over the weekend and I gotta say I laughed pretty hard mostly in the scenes with danny trejo. that dude is known for being a badass and he was way too funny.

I am just not exited about either. especialy after looking over the launch and soon after launch titles. niether has anything I MUST play. or even kinda sorta want to play.

What do you have? I've got RealTek '97 Audio with two speakers and a sub, no problems at all and the speakers are good. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> that's exactly what I have. never let me down yet.

the thread that won't die!!! agggghhhh anyways it seems people have strong opinions about this game. I still haven't played it, so I am not passing judgment yet. I WILL buy it either way, just to help send the message to Capcom and SNK that 2d is not dead. every 2d game that comes out on my system of choice gets purchased just for that reason. did I really need SVC: Chaos? no, I have an arcade perfect rom running on my xbox now. but I still bought it to support the 2d scene.

I've always just ran onboard audio. and have never had any issues. Just upgrade to some nice speakers.

I can't believe nobody said Mystery Men. the funniest super hero movie of all time. The Spleen is the ultimate Super Hero. And King Pin is way funny too.

just to let anyone know that doesn't, the Xbox system link cable it a crossover. so it works for connecting you xbox to your pc. and is about half the price you'd pay in the pc section of the store. hella long too. and now that Kai is integrated into avalaunch and XBC I think most people are using Kai.

Thanks Prican25 for the heads up. After a little searching, I found everything I needed. Thanks man. I was unfamiliar with PAR files and after a little reading and patching, I got everything working perfect. I know when I first hit the newsgroups the PAR thing threw me for a loop too. heheh. now since I refuse to pay for newsgroups and my current ISP has horrible service if some one would seed a torrent I'd be happy. all I want is the mame disc as I have a full collection of FBA-xxx.

I think the overall design is good only the exposed gd-rom has me worried. no matter what you gotta hand it to the guy, he took a console and portablised it. and from what I have read the DC power scheme is a bear to get going on batteries. it looks better then some other frankenstein portables I have seen. if he produced that case and instructions on how to get it together I'd give it a shot.

that stick looks pretty sick but I have 2 good sticks for the xbox now. I am looking for pads that are more portable since I move my box around alot (from my house to my moms and to my truck.) thanks for the heads up about not working with the ps2 to xbox adapters though, no use getting them till the xbox ones come out then, and I already have home made xbox to pc adapters. Ghost those old ascii pads came out for DC and PSX. I have seen them a few times on ebay with bids in the 60 to 70 dollar range.

I found my copy of the original unreal tournament today got it installed and patched. then realised everyone still playing this game is either a butt nugget or really good from 6+ years of playing. lol maybe it would be fun to have a few 1emu only rounds. if anyone still has this game and playes it heheh

lol I know I dun care about the graphics I am interested in the 6 button layout and hopefully a nice pad. and the akuma one looks better but they dun have it.

street fighter controller anyone have one of these? it looks alot like the old ascii pads that are impossable to find now. anyways I am thinking of getting one and a converter for my xbox and pc. looks great for emulation. so if anyone has used one of these put up a little review. edit in: I just noticed the same manufacturer (Nuby) is bringing out an xbox version in january (1/11/05) but there is no pic so I dunno if it is the same style.

did you get the PARs? and use quickpar or whatever it's called. if not DL all the pars and get the program that applies them to the rars
