Ayane? wasn't Kasumi more closely tied to Ryu..... Forgive me, the DOA story lines are all a blur to me. cocaine is a hell of a drug.

yeah I seen Dr horrible when it was first out during the strike. not due to Whedon, but more due to Doogie (I dunno the dudes real name but I like him on How I met your mother)

Serenity. My sister has been on about this for years. and I never gave it a shot. I'm not big on the whole "Space Opera" Genre. (American Dignity, Space Opera Symphony!) She never bothered to mention the whole Western slant. which I dig quite a bit. Now I am watching the original Firefly series on hulu.

I've heard July as the PC release date. last I heard of the championship edition patch was "when it's done" I had some bad luck today. 6 fights, 3 lame Kens and 3 decent akumas. WTF? But even a decent akuma can totally botch his ultra. lol at jabbing like crazy from across the screen... I wonder what you're trying to do buddy.

speaking of... where the hell has Gryph been? -
I've never understood trying to hunt down some random game that you can't remember anything about except the hero was fat with a cape.. Obviously it wasn't very good if you can't remember anything about it.

ok. don't go there then. -
got in about 20 ranked matches today. my win ratio is still hovering at 50%. also finished off the normal time attack. I was getting bored of Zangief so switched over to Cammy and actually had some good results with her. stage 14 was the only one that was tough.

Or perhaps Herporrhea? Clapilloma? I'll tell you what I think you should do. Stop drinking anything other than water or REAL fruit juice. In fact... only eat fruit for a few days. No meat or junkfood. You need to cleanse your system... I think you sh!t is all out of wack, and I believe you need to fill up on only good stuff. Fruit is a good way of purging the system of crap, whil giving it the stuff in needs. another way to do that is go on an all meth diet. just smoke meth. are you thirsty? Smoke meth. are you hungry? smoke meth. Bored? smoke meth. too high on meth? smoke crack to even out. -

it's unexplainable when a hot straight chick leaves her man for a bull dyke and becomes a lesbian for a few years. then switches back and gets married to some random dude. I've seen it, and it boggles the mind. -

hmm, that video: The Attic is interesting. I would write it off as a fake except that dog was pretty convincing, I dunno if anyone would take the time to train their dog to act that way for a youtube video. -
worlds favorite OS - wat could it be?
Inky replied to endoplasmic reticulum's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
what do you mean "Still"? it's the current windows OS. 7 doesn't play nice with my desktop for some reason. I like 7 more but it needs to be more stable before my main home PC is running it 24/7. As I've said before, stability trumps all for me at this stage in my computing life. I don't play any PC games. I don't even run emulators on PC any more. my computers are for internet, media, news, and idle chatting on forums in the middle of the night. and now that I have a decent Mac, Garageband. -
one thing I loved about RE1 was the safe room. you never knew what to expect but you entered a safe room and that music was playing and your heart had a chance to slow down. there are no moments like that in RE5. not to mention the magic boxes. I miss the magic boxes. now Left 4 dead feels more like that to me, racing for the safe room and you get there and it's like "ahhh, I made it. a moment of peace before we go back out there." same with dead rising. I think Left 4 Dead and Dead Rising have far surpassed RE as the kings of Zombie games.

got my mac G4 yesterday and put OSX leopard on it first thing. yeah I love it. stacks are great. spotlight is great. The G4 out preforms my G3 by a mile. so currently I have a laptop running 7 a desktop running Vista a laptop running Tiger and a laptop running Leopard. the only reason I use the desktop at all is for burning DL DVDs. the win7 laptop is basically my son's. -
So I married an axe murder. I remember this movie being real funny when I first saw it. but it seemed a bit forced and cheesy in todays light. I am gonna watch Evil Dead tonight. I've actually never seen the first one.

No she doesn't remember any of it. my wife says there were other incidents with her talking about "Rick" going on for about 2 months. but I wasn't first hand to any of them. My nephew had similar stories when he was around the same age about a woman who killed herself on my sisters property. this would have been about 8 years ago I guess. my mother was sitting on the couch late one night, staying with my sister. well Josh my nephew woke up to get some water. He asked my mom if he could sit with her and watch tv and she agreed. so they are sitting there in the dark watching TV and my mom noticed that Josh was not watching tv he was staring intently at the end of the couch. (it was a long sectional) she continued to watch tv and a few minutes later noticed he was still looking at the end of the couch. She finally asked what he was looking at and he said he was looking at the lady who comes over to draw pictures of him. He said the lady was nice to him but she hurt her mouth. At that time my mom wrote it off as active imagination of a 4 year old. And they eventually went to bed. A few days later my mom was talking to my sisters mother-in-law who also lives on the property and she told her about that night. My sisters mother-in-law got a little white and explained that a woman had killed her self on the property years before. the woman was an artist, she put a shotgun in her mouth. Now to me the fact that Josh's visitor drew pictures of him (artist) and had a hurt mouth (shotgun) is just too much coincidence for a kids imaginary friend. near that time Josh also had issues with an unseen little boy who he claimed was mean to him. now there was no little boy living there. their property was miles from town. My sister thinks the unseen boy may have been his father's brother who died when they were kids. I agree that young kids may be more open to the spirit and supernatural world and as they grow up that door closes. For my daughter and Nephew it seems that door closed around 4 years old. -
one thing I don't like about RE5 (i never played RE4 so I dunno about that one.) is the puzzles amount to just killing a certain enemy to get a key card. what happened to the old days of the RE1 style puzzles? I have such fond memories of RE1, sitting with friends trying to figure out some room puzzle. or finally finding the thing you need to solve a puzzle all the way across the mansion. and the dread of the return trip. all that stuff is gone from RE5.

I was on level 6-3 (the final boss) then I gave the disk to a friend. forget that game I've had enough of QTE. I hate em. the final boss wasn't even what was ending my game it was stupid ass shiva. for over an hour I played the same 10 minutes of the level. sheva died in the same place every damn time.

the only other really strange thing to happen to me involved my daughter. It was thanksgiving around 3 years ago as well. we were invited to my wife's cousin's house for thanksgiving dinner. a big family affair there were prolly 13~15 people there. in order to get this story you have to know that my wife's cousin had a very good friend named rick. rick died in a car accident a few months earlier. there is no doubt that Rick would have been at the party if he were alive. all the adults at the party knew Rick. my kids DID NOT know Rick. So it's after dinner and a group of us are sitting outside smoking. my daughter who was about 3 at the time was pushing one of those sit-on cars up the sidewalk and then it would roll back down the incline to her. well I am talking to someone but I can hear my girl talking.. I'm watching her play and talk to herself. but she is saying things like "Push it back to me RICK." and "Get it RICK." I glance at my wife's cousin and he is sitting closer to my girl then I am. I know he hears her. but he pretends he doesn't. I didn't want to say anything and upset anyone. Later I am farther from the group and my daughter comes up and talks to me. saying all the goofy things 3 year old girls say. but she also said "RICK doesn't like thanksgiving. He is going to ruin it." from what a gathered later after we left some things went wrong at the party. nothing major just a few little things. a champagne cork popped off by itself, the power went out. stuff like that. I would chalk it up to coincidence except as I stated my daughter had never met Rick, at that point she had never met anyone named Rick. -

OK Will wanted some more stories in this thread so here it goes. I actually think I posted these stories at some point. I don't remember so here it goes. about 3 years ago, me, my wife, and kids were staying at my inlaws house. everyone was in bed it was well after 1AM. my wife and I got in bed but I had to take a leak first. so I do my business and come around the corner in the dark. you know how when you are walking around a corner and some one else is right there? and you stop suddenly almost out of instinct. you can feel their presence before your brain can identify them. well it was just like that. as I rounded the corner I SAW a shadow figure right in the doorway. I thought it was my wife going to the bathroom too and we just met in the doorway. I am staring at this shadow for a good 5 seconds waiting for my wife to say something. she finally does but she is to my left in bed. she said "what are you doing?" and my attention turned to her voice for a second. when I looked back where the shadow figure was, there was nothing there. I know there was something there. I could feel the presence and see the crisp outlined shadow against the softly illuminated window. anyone interested in paranormal activities has heard of this phenomenon, often referred to as shadow people. -
