I think you'll find the rhythms can be alittle more complex then they seem at first glance, Johnny almost always played a bouncing bass line with in the chords. kind of a "boom-chukka boom-chukka" sound. I can't think of the song you mentioned off hand but it will come to me. besides all the standards like ring of fire and folsom prison blues I suggest you learn: Cry, Cry, Cry, when the man comes around, it ain't me babe & Cocaine Blues. those are my favorites and you can rock em out abit. infact teh song you mentioned may be cocaine blues....

sadly I do remember that one. I remember seeing it on tv years ago. the giant chainsaw peen is the best part of the whole movie.

I just work on the principle that they are people with personalities and likes and dislikes just like every guy you deal with on a day to day basis. I heard that those other cube movies weren't all that. the first one was cool though. I watched the majority of the new punisher movie, exactly what I expected 2/5 the man who souled the world. a documentary about Steve Rocco the guy who pretty much changed the skateboarding industry to what it is now. 3.5/5 I started to watch the foot fist way but it was just too slow and not quite as funny as it could have been.

the first PoP (I'm talking the OG 2D one) was so challenging, that was what was good about it. any leap could be your last. to take that out of the series is like taking peanut butter out of a pb&j sammie.

thats the way I felt this year, it is like I'm in a holding pattern, the job market sucks so I have stayed in a job I don't really like. just doing the same thing every day to get by. but if things go the way I hope in 09 it will be a lot better.

Far Cry 2 isn't for everyone. The game doesn't really change story wise or gameplay wise (you just get more weapons) so if you're really not liking it now then you may not like it at all. What I've been noticing is that people either really like the game or they don't like it at all. The game feels so unoriginal, another COD4 clone. I played a bit more and im enjoying it, lets see how it goes. It is nothing like CoD4. After a bit more of playing, i take that back. But it is quite similar. what? did you even play both games, other then both being FPS and having guns there is nothing alike. COD4 is modern squad military warfare in urban environments FC2 is solitary gorrilla warfare in a country side environments. this year was really pretty bland for me. I played just about every 360 release and didn't really get hooked on any of them. I guess if I have to pick something I'll go with Fallout 3 and that is just because street fighter 4 and skate 2 won't be out this year. with more maps and weapons I think left 4 dead would have been a real contender but it gets boring pretty quick.

the day the earth stood still. pretty decent I guess, Keanu plays an emotionless alien better then anyone else. and he didn't say "dude" or "whoa" the whole time. this morning Anchorman and Talledaga Nights were on TV so I watched those. 2 movies always good for a laugh.

didn't we just do this a few months ago, there's no way it was a year ago already.
