on the mame build I was using it was just like any other controller configured in the mame options. if your build doesn't work like that something like joy2key would work.

I've recently been seeing rom packs (or iso packs more likely) of naomi games floating around the darker side of the net. is it emulated? I remember rumblings before chankast tanked that it was going to have naomi support. but nothing ever came of it as far as I know.

my wife forced me to watch Juno. I was not interested in watching this movie at all, but it was actually pretty funny and a good movie. She also forced me into watching Girl, Interrupted and that is a sack of crap.

yep all 8 or 9 of the games I've played on line were lag fests most with kilik spammers. I'm grinding out the last of the single player cheevos then prolly be done with it.

found the perfect (almost) solution to the problem and it also takes care of my 7zip issues. its called ungoodmerge. it will un7zip and sort out roms by region, hacks, all kinds of stuff. so if you ever end up with 3gigs of roms that you need to repack in zip format and get rid of all the extra versions and regions you don't want this is the program to do it. all I had to do by hand was delete all the sports, kids and movie games I didn't want. 3 gigs down to just over 800mb. that's manageable.

I still can't remember what it was but I just realised it can be done with good old WinRAR. Put all the 7z files into a folder, select them all and extract them. Now move all the 7z files out of the way somewhere. Open WinRAR and navigate to the roms folder. Highlight all the files and right-click, then 'Add to Archive'. Change 'Archive Format' to zip in the General tab. Then click the 'File' tab and down near the bottom tick the 'Put each file to separate archive' box. It'll take some time obviously, depending on how many roms you are unpacking/packing but at least it's all automated! Edit for minor details good tips. thats what I'll do. damn we are talking about 2 gigs of roms, 3000 or so files.

if you can remember the program, I'd like it. right now they are just sitting on my hard drive, I don't have the time or energy to repack each one individually.

you'd be surprised how quick you can go through 5 gigs.

and read the fine print, most unlimited plans cap at 5gigs a month. I know verizon does and sprint is supposed to go to 5 gigs very soon. edge and evdo are high latency high ping but the actual speeds are decent, not 60 bucks a month decent though. edge is around 200~300kbs evdo can get up to 1mbs

do the PSP emulators support 7zip? all the goodsets I just got are 7zip format and I really don't feel like repacking all those roms.

so I just got full goodsets of nes, snes, and genesis. but I want to get rid off all the non US games to just have the US sets. I also want to whittle out any non official games, sports, and kids games. is there any program that can do it or am I in for a long by hand process?

I really like Herring I don't know why. well in advance I am calling Chris Leban over Mike Bisping by T/KO. Bisping is over due for a reality check and Leban is just the guy to give it to him. an Iron jaw and dangerous under pressure. overall UFC 89 looks like a great card, better then the last few IMO.
