hahah..so I like to keep tabs on the AVGN (I think he's cute) and I noticed he did a review on the board game DragonStrike. Not many people around here ever played it. I played it a few times with my cousin and it's just as ridiculous now as it was long ago. Especially that video that came with it. Check it: http://www.cinemassacre.com/new/?p=1169 What board games did/do you guys enjoy?

o.0 I'm looking forward to dis.

That is carrying 100% accuracy haha. Couldn't have said it better. MM used to piss me off soooo bad with that respawning crap. Still gets to me sometimes. -

No game is too difficult you can't beat it. It just takes patience and practice. Grant it, there are quite a few games I haven't beaten considering I just don't have the time. I get incredibly pissed at the newer stuff especially playing online. Sometimes I just prefer the good ol' days of "vs COM" or figuring stuff out yourself. -
Can anyone find the corny Nintendo light gun commercials?
-
I'm not at all offended. Likewise, I didn't intend to piss people off. I guess some of will have to agree to disagree. No biggie.

Your points are understood but I believe you're taking the whole deal wayyyyyy too harsh. I made very short points (without getting into too much detail) just to give a different perspective on each subject. I'm still standing by what I said. You can FEEL and express those feelings without being insulting about it. Not everyone thinks like you or I so it would be unfair to us to make them read something that we know would bother them. Honestly your statement about cursing as a necessity is pretty laughable to me (no offense). It is a necessity to embellish something that means anything to you. However, it doesn't have to be in trailer park or ghetto fabulous grammar. I'm not saying you should go on writing paragraph upon paragraph...just one or two words or sentences. I think the filter shouldn't apply to personal messages. If someone has an issue that's legitimately heartfelt and needs to vent, by all means, message others with your problems. But to have people read certain things that they might take offense to shouldn't be allowed. Developing relationships with the people that make your site work...I'll say this: IF they are THAT upset about something as piddling as a word filter and not appreciate the other threads that are allowed by members only, I'd say step on. That's probably why I don't have my own site. It's about respect for everyone. No person is the same. I personally "curse" quite often on and off the web..I don't judge people for saying things however they want. I start to care when people want others to do and be just like them. Most people WANT it gone? Well, there are few who don't.

I'm getting that impression.

haha I'm sure we've all dealt with crazies from the web. Who's got some strange stories?

This is slightly a one sided perspective. Whether minors are exposed to such language it doesn't mean that everyone should contribute to it. Two wrongs don't make a right remember? If parents allow their children to join a forum such as this, they're not expecting a bunch of trash talk. They're expecting their child to talk to others who are interested in the same hobbies. It's not only about children anyway. Some adults are insulted at such vocabulary. Sometimes I find myself annoyed for the fact that some people feel the need to curse just to get emphasis on a point. Most of the time it isn't necessary and it's usually because the person doesn't read a dictionary. That's just ridiculous. If I had the power, I would censor ignorant comments myself. Especially if it was on MY site. I want to have the reputation of being clean and professional instead of having a bunch of filth on my website for the world to see. Using censorship as a point against the filter is pretty moot. If it was about something more serious as your OPINION about something, that would be different. You can state your opinion as long as it's not muddled with filthy language. If you can't say something without cursing, pick up a dictionary or thesaurus and do it right. Again, use a dictionary to get accurate results. There are better and meaningful words to emphasize something instead of F*** and S***. It would be too time consuming and pointless. People on here aren't THAT concerned about it. It might get frustrating sometimes but it's not anything that extreme to make the admins completely change a solid foundation of something. I respect your views but maybe you shouldn't be so worked up about something like this.

Now this is what I'm talking about! For a while, my husband and I were dreaming about buying a HUGE building (like 6-10 stories). Each floor would have something for someone. We wanted to have paintball, rock climbing, laser tag, small movie theater and a bunch of other things. We wanted to have a floor specifically for arcades. Classics only though! (Another floor would be new school stuff and whatnot for kids) The games I can think of right now would be these: Asteroids Centipede Donkey Kong Frogger Missile Command Pac-Man Galaga Space Invaders Tempest Robotron 2084 Time Pilot Dragons Lair Punchout Gauntlet Rampage Double Dragon Road Blasters Tetris Golden Axe Captain America and the Avengers Mortal Kombat Tron X-Men TMNT Tekken 2 Tekken 3 Street Fighter Street Fighter Alpha Street Fighter II Turbo We made a 2 page list of games we wanted. Including some air hockey and pin ball machines. (preferably the Terminator and Adam's Family ones)

I have a love/hate relationship with MM. Hurt my wrists quite often chopping the arm of the couch. -
Anyone know who that fat dude is doing the jumping side kick? That's pretty awesome! Don't know, but I'm pretty sure the other guy was glad it didn't connect, looks like if it had it would have knocked him the f**k out. I would take it as a more serious approach if it wasn't for that ridiculous face expression.

where would you live if you could live anywhere?
Hera replied to Inky's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
If I could live out of the country, I would pick somewhere in Scandinavia. Norway, Finland, MAYBE Sweden and possibly Denmark. But out of all those, I highly prefer Norway. -
Well, they're going to freak out if it's flying low like that with military personnel around it. All they see is a huge jet near buildings. I don't blame them for being afraid. I just want to know why taxpayers are paying over 300k for a stupid picture of a plane that citizens cannot even use. I don't understand why money is spent on studying gay sex. People have sex whether they're drinking or not. People spread diseases whether they're drunk or not. There isn't anything scientific about it. Gay marriage will not be restricted because too many people complain about it and act like babies. Who knows where that money went. Some resources are saying military and others for medical basis. We're always lied to so I don't think anyone knows.
