Emu Newbie

I'm using the ResX Neogenesis madmab edition emulator and I was wondering how you guys file your Sega CD games? Is there a way to hide the mp3s, so I don't have to scan through all of the Mp3's before I get to the .iso file? Thanks! Ben

I changed mine a while back, and I realized that there is no magic button to return them to default. It is currently taking the xbox forever to load up some internet radio stations. Can someone please tell me the default settings? Thanks!

Hi, I believe there was a thread created that had a link to a website that had a punch of pictures of about every console I could think of, and you could just click on the thumbnail of the console to find out info on it. Does anyone remember what I'm talking about? I was thinking those thumbnails would be great for my emulator icons. Thanks guys/gals! B

I know madmab is hard at work w/ these emulators, but it would be awesome if in a future release a screen saver function could be added (like in Coin Ops) - where the game videos are played full screen.

I've got to say the SCREEN SAVER FEATURE ROCKS!!!! I hope that can be integrated into all of the madmab edition emu's!

Thanks CBA.GY ------ I deleted everything in saves folder and ran the emulator and set everything up. Funny thing is that it didn't work the first time, but when I backed out and came back in and it worked! BTW...these XTRAS are amazing (it has made playing xbox emu/roms awesome)! Can't wait for the SNES, and virtualboy emulators!

I tried changing the settings at the main menu, and everything works while I'm running the emulator (all games open w/ the correct size). When I shut down the emulator and open it back up, I have to do it all again. I did not unzip the "SAVES", so I doubt those are affecting anything. This is pretty odd, b/c normally when I set the global video settings, I never have to reset anything.

I've been using the madmab edition emulators for the xtras stuff and I was wondering if there was a way to save my overall settings. Every time I launch the emulator I have to re-set my video configurations (in the Nes emulator - I have to change the screen size and the filter). W/ neogenesis I have to put back on the option to use my auto-configuration usage (so I don't have to hit "B" after I click on the rom I want to use). Any suggestions? Thanks!

Gilou I have a question for you. I got the madmab neogenesisv24 and started using the skin, and I've got everything running w/ the 3 screen preview (box, video preview, and start screen). But I was wondering how do I see the commercials? I have the commercials but how do I set it up to see the commercial in the video preview spot? Thanks!

well I figured something out - it happens when I try to play 320kbps MP3s and try to use the visualizer. I went to see if I could change some settings on the visualizer but there are no options (besides changing which visualizer I use). I'm gonna try another skin - to see if that helps.

I recently put in a new HDD into my xbox and used AIDv4.5 to put XBMC on it. I have noticed that w/ this new build I can't stream music w/out skipping. Before using AIDv4.5 I had used v4.4 and never had any problems. Could I just put in my AIDv4.4 disk and overwrite my XBMC dashboard w/ the older one (w/o losing the stuff I added already - ie GAMES and EMUS)? Thanks! Ben
