I'm honestly all for this. I don't see why two people of the same sex who love each other shouldn't be able to enjoy the same rights as a couple as everyone else. While I don't think that churches should be forced to marry them (that should be left up to the sect, whatever), I do think that the state, being agnostic by construction, has no right to tell gay couples that they can't get married under state law. A side note -- Hating gays seems to be one of the last few bigotries that is socially acceptable, and I'm always glad to see ridiculous hatreds of any sort being forgotten and the opposition just having to learn to deal with it.

Nice review. It's a beautiful game -- but mind-bogglingly difficult. The first boss pretty much laid some prison-style rape on me and I decided for my xbox's sake, that it was probably for the best that I don't play it anymore.

That's absolutely fantastic. I really do love it when game developers support emulation of their old games -- it really lets you know that they actually care about their fans and letting more people enjoy their games.

There is decent NES emulator called NESDS, a Genesis emulator called jEnesisDS, SNES emulators SNEmulDS, SNESDS, a gameboy emulator called Lameboy, an emulator for Neo-Geo, and various others. And of course there's no one keeping all their costumers from changing providers Cable providers have a monopoly in their areas. There are no other cable providers on the same wires. The only other option is DSL, but it doesn't have the speeds cable does. I do so love the corporate way of giving less and less as the years go by, but charging more and more for it.

It's very likely they will impose caps. There's really no one to stop them. Not only that, I'm fairly certain they will keep bumping the 250gb down lower and lower until we're in the same boat as the poor Australians.

I must have missed that because the 6 button controller for the Genesis looks completely foreign to me. Did some games only work with the 6 button controller or did the 3 button controller work with all of them as well? Most games were more playable with the 6-button (street fighter, MK, SoR, etc)

The 68k processor was easily destroyed by the SNES's impressive graphics capabilities and CPU with some fancy DMA features. The sound processors on the SNES are impressive to say the least (SPC700 + a sexy custom DSP). The Genesis had a cheapy ym2610 and a very poor sounding/outdated SN76496 (PSG). The controllers were ok (standard SNES vs 6-button Genesis), but nothing horribly impressive compared to current controllers. The only thing that stopped the SNES from being a complete slam-dunk was Nintendo's reluctance to allow uncensored/crippled M-Rated games on its consoles.
