Thanks to Dyq and BNathan for the funds used to purchase most of the Mahjong games.

  2. Made the ‘Arcade’ bootleg of the Genesis version of Super Street Fighter 2 work.

This version takes coins and plays like an arcade game, (real credits, dips etc.)

but is based on the Japanese Genesis release of the game. Probably made either

because it was low-cost, or because nobody had found a way to bootleg CPS2 at the

    time. (set name ssf2ghw )

Thanks to stephh for the help with this one.

This will be added to MAME one day, can’t give an ETA on when because I want to

be 100% happy with the code and compatibility of the MegadDive and SMS emulation

    before I port it back.

  3. This game was part of Konami's failed Ultra Sports experiment. The game is a head-to-head soccer game running on a special cocktail cabinet (The cabinet can be seen in the Ultra Sports flyer: http://www.arcadeflyers.com/?page=thumbs&id=2186 )

On the hardware side things are very simple. The main processor is a PowerPC 403GA, for sounds there's a Konami 54539 (better known from Konami GX system), and the video is done with two palette-based framebuffer layers.

  4. Totally Right Superman. Raine was an excellent emulator back in the day, fast, supported a ton of games, etc. However, it also allowed tons of hacks in the drivers to get speed etc out of them. I think this is a major factor leading to it's downfall.

Raine has a very nice license and is open-source though, so modifying it and adding more games, new drivers, etc. is always welcome. :-)
