The forums changed servers and a lot of people are having speed troubles. It's strange because I'm not having any troubles and probably 90% of users are having no problems.

I was just wondering if you guys could help me make a decision on what mod-chip to buy and where to get it. To start out, I need a Mod-chip for a V4 ps2 I also need to know some reputable mod-chip retailers and what modchip to get. Keep in mind I don't mind doing soldering. I would normally try to find one on my own, but after doing a few searches and only getting porn and such, I thought I'd come to some people who most likely know.

Here's an idea... Not sure if it would work, but... A cartridge connected to a parallel cable (or usb or serial or something..) you could have it connected so that the pc recieves signals from the nes (which should already be emulated in NES emulators, maybe?) upon recieving the signal, the pc could send back the rom data the nes ask for. Just a thought though...

Icarus? The dreamcast emulator? It hasn't been released, when/if it is released it should run on decent machine (they'll release required system specs when the dynarec is finished) You can download games for it on direct connect.
