Yeah I read it, and told him the only way I knew how to do it, which is in XBMC, either as an app or a dash. I didn't know about any PC based tools for doing it. Thinking about it now, in Evox, you can make the titles appear as anything you want without actually editing the xbe names. It can be made so that each emulator has it's own specially named menu entry instead of using the auto add command. But it's easier to just change the xbe titles so that the name change takes effect in any dash.

So what's up with the commander's face? How come he always wears the mask/helmet?

How big is the average G.I Joe? From pictures I've seen most seem a lot smaller than Action Men. Every Action Man I've ever owned is 12 inches tall.

The whole world will be ruled by me, Cobra Commander! Cobra Commander is the most menacing looking, yet ridiculous sounding villain ever. However in the UK, you may not have heard of him. When I was still young enough to play with action figures, I had a load of Action Man stuff. In the early 1990’s, Action Men were essentially licensed copies of G.I. Joes. My first figures were Cobra Commander, and Duke. I thought that Cobra's blue KKK like hood was awesome, and was kinda upset that he was a villain, coz he looked so much cooler than the Action Men themselves, except for maybe Snake Eyes. The figures then had awesome big guns that made a firing noise when you pushed a button and an LED that lit up. Shortly after that though, Action Man broke away from G.I Joe to form its own identity. A new villain was made, Dr. X; a bald guy with a long pony tail and a different robotic body part every time he was re-released. He was a mad scientist, not the leader of an international terrorist organisation. He was not as cool. I wish that Cobra Commander had remained the villain of the Action Men, as you couldn’t get G.I Joe in the UK, nor did we get the G.I Joe cartoons which I’ve seen bits of on youtube. We have in recent years had Action Man cartoons and video games though. So who is better? Cobra or X? Action Man or G.I. Joe? Why was a live action film version made of G.I. Joe last year staring Dennis Quaid and Christopher Eccleston? Discuss.

Yeah but he needs the right one. Just googling neogeo.zip could get the latest MAME v0.131 set or a much older version. Check the documentation of MVSPSP if there is any to see what version of MAME it uses. The latest version of MVSPSP I could find any info on through a quick search was 2.3.1, but I couldn't find out what MAME version it uses. Edit: The documentation is in Japanese so no help there. I do know it uses an old version of MAME, not sure which specific one, but I think I may have found a bios set that will work. Check your PM Ben2dx.

That means you need the NeoGeo bios. It's always a file called neogeo.zip, but the contents of that zip is different for every emulator depending on which version of MAME it uses. However, since I don't know what version of MAME this particular emulator uses, I don't know what files need to be inside said neogeo.zip. Can you link me to the version of MVSPSP you downloaded? If there's a dat file included I can probably take the neogeo.zip I have for FBA and use Romcenter to make it work with MVSPSP.

Seems there's also CPS1PSP and CPS2PSP, if I had a PSP, I'd want those too.

I don't use filters either, I might if I was displaying on an LCD.

Do you mean that the GUI only take up a portion of the screen in 720p mode? If so that's coz the default skin in FBA isn't 720p. Get either mine or cba.gy's that are and it'll fill the screen.

You need to edit the program's xbe titles. Unfortunately Evox can't do it. If you have Xbox Media Center you can though. Open Media Center and go into the programs/emulators menu, then highlight the program you want to rename and press the white button. Then select edit xbe title, the virtual keyboard will come up, use it to edit the title. Press start. The program's name will change in the list. When you go back to Evox you will see that the names have changed there too, and in any other dashboard too. Then realise that XBMC is way better than Evox and you should be using it as your dash.

What's that page got to do with xbox box art?

You might try CDcovers.cc. They have xbox cover shots. But they have the full sleeve, as in front and back in one pic, coz they're aimed at printing out to use in dvd cases. You'd have to cut them in half.

Metal Slug 3 is the biggest Metal Slug by far, it takes FBA-XXX Pro on the Xbox a really long time to load it, I'd be suprised if the PSP can handle it. Is it definitely supported? Is it in mame4all's dat file?

Didn't know that. Seems a bit of a long winded way of doing things though. Can cheat files not be made for NeoGeo games then? Or have they just not been because of this method?

Maybe I'll try it on the PC sometime. It's pretty much the only game on Jaguar I'm interested in.

Well I have AVP 1+2 on PC, I don't need those on xbox. I've just always wondered what the jaguar version was like, coz from what I've seen it's like Alien Trilogy for Saturn/PSX only much higher res. And of course with the ability to play as the predator.

Is there a Jaguar emulator for xbox? I always wanted to try Aliens vs Predator.
