The Hacker Of 1Emulation Is Now Revealed.
StriderSkorpion replied to Alpha's topic in 1Emulation.com Information [/info]
Careful Inmate77, you don't want to end up going to jail yourself. A backup of the site is up, but in the box that says webmasters there's a picture of a skull and crossbones with the message "Beware..." I don't know if that was left by the hacker or if it's supposed to be a message from Neo X. -
New Nrx Egcg V 4.4 Is Out......

How do you know it doesn't boot KoF 2k3? Did you try the hacked version, just curious? I'm asking for the INI because I wanted to see what new games or hacks were added for support. Mainly to see if it would be worth the download or not. -
Self-booting/burning Problems

Oh, it's just data/data? There's no problem with that. In fact, that's the kind of cdi image bin2boot creates. All DCs, except for maybe early Japanese ones (according to the DC FAQ on MegaGames) can boot them. This includes the newer ones that can't boot audio/data, supposedly. -

It seem that Neo Arcadia X has been hacked. On a side note, Neo X had locked my topic asking him if he was the hacker or not and he just said "stop the gossip" or something like that. -

What's the track layout look like? Xeal used to have a tutorial on his site that mentioned putting the data tracker first and the ip.bin &/or 1stread.bin at the end. You could just rip the data from the image like I mentioned. If need be, just make a new ISO and use bin2boot. -
Shikigami 2 - Ripped Yet?

Eh, I'd rather them scare off PC and maybe Mac games, especially the kid games. I wouldn't mind if they'd remove the Gamecube games either. I don't know if they did that or not (haven't been to SuprNova in a while). -

No, it can be in ISO format (i.e. Mode 1/2048). In fact, it's used in the Selfboot Inducer program with mkisofs (I think that's the name of the program). I used it after ripping the data from a non-auto boot game in Nero format. -

Ah, I don't remember reading about that. Must not have been big news to the video game community. That or I completely missed a period of time. -

I've never heard of the ESA. Are you sure it wasn't the IDSA? I guess ESA could stand for European Software Association or something similar. If it was European, why would they bother with Dreamcast games? Most games on SuprNova are by Japanese or American developers. -

So, apparently only Razoola and maybe some other emulator programmers (i.e. ElSemi) have this rom? Does anybody know if they plan to release it? If so, any guess as to when? -

Does anyone have the INI file that (probably) came with it? Also, is there a dat (ClrMamePro or RomCenter) available for it? -

It's possible it could self boot, but I don't think I've ever seen the images like that. I've heard of images in that format (or similar), though. If you aren't willing to waste a CD-R to see if it auto boots, grab CDMage and extract the data from the tracks. If the last track has any needed data (i.e. ip.bin or 1stread.bin), you'll have to make a new ISO. Otherwise, just grab bin2boot from MegaGames and use it on the ISO you created from the first session (CDMage supports extracting actual data and in ISO format, if I'm not mistaken). -
The uni-bios, I believe (could be mistaken) boots up and can allow you to pick cheats. If not, you probably need to get to the bios start up screen with either one. There you probably can set the options. I don't know for sure, but the uni-bios probably has cheats for KoF 2k3.

Segata, use TorrentSpy to see if the torrent is still valid. The tracker could be temporarily down or, worse, permanently (or just for an extended time) down. -
Izumo Walkthrough
StriderSkorpion replied to Inmate77's topic in DreamCast & Saturn Emulators [/pc/dc+saturn]
Check GameFAQs. That's the only place I can think of that may have a walkthrough. It's possible other sites like GameWinners or Neoseeker could have one. I imagine it's hard to find a walkthrough for it using Google, but if all else fails, that's my last suggestion. -
Well, does it support the debug or uni-bios? If so, you could use either one to unlock the bosses. If it supported cheats, it could unlock the bosses also. I don't know if there are any codes to play as the bosses or not. If you want to see if there are, check GameFAQs.

Sega CDs
StriderSkorpion replied to hairytash's topic in Genesis & Mega CD Emulators [/pc/gens+megacd]
They used to have a ftp forum. You'd have to join the forum to actually see the ftp forum. Like I said, though, it's been a while since I've been there. They could've changed things, but I don't think they would. -
What Emulator Runs Cps2 Games?
StriderSkorpion replied to someboddy's topic in Arcade Emulators [/pc/arcade]
Then there's Calice32 (I don't recommend it). Possibly more, but I can't think of any. -
Some lamer put his name in the junk data of the p1 rom (I believe it was this one) probably with just a hex editor. It doesn't do anything special, it just has his name.

The game has bosses unlocked, so it isn't as bad as the Jimmyi hack. The only problem is that, so far, it only works with a hacked version of NeoRageX. I don't know why it's called KoF 2k3 Plus by some people as it has Hero in the place of Insert Coin rather than Plus.

Bleemcast
StriderSkorpion replied to PLasticSlug's topic in DreamCast & Saturn Emulators [/pc/dc+saturn]
Someone has cracked the bleemcast beta so it doesn't do any such check. The image always reset my DC when I tried to run it, though. I did get it to run using the complicated method I stated in a previous post. Normally sending the beta binary doesn't seem to work, which doesn't really make sense to me. -
Shikigami 2 - Ripped Yet?

Probably's already out in the newsgroups or at least will be soon. What kind of game is this, just curious? By the time it probably is leaked onto the newsgroups I'll be able to download it (stupid 1GB a month limit).
