i just wanted to know if anyone can sub titles to movies?because there is a guy or a group of people who want to make a translation patch for space channel 5 part 2.this will include a text translation patch and a voice translation patch.the reason that its being done is because he thinks the dreamcast version is better that the ps2 version,and i agree so if anyone wants to help him.email him at gingo17@zophar.net.so far he needs help making subtitles for movies and voices(mainly extras)so email him if u want to contribute.go here to read the details here.he is quite good some of u may know him as topping as in topping translations(also going by the name of purge). heres a snapshot of the game running in chankast.[ posted this months late but it was inthe back of my mind so i did it now]heres a link to the snapshot page here

yeah ur right i forgot about that feature,i rarely use it.yes it will run on xp when using compatability mode windows 95.but this isnt legal since from sega right. update:this thing works great right now encoding gothika.tested it on a few dreamcast tv commercials.the only complaint is that its slower than most encoders.

huh,i found the official sofdec encoder thing in crackman world web page after looking for it for 3 hours but its not supported by xp.damn.(if any one needs the program its here(direct link to zip file(7.05 mb))iwould recommend having all ur xp security update before entering this site.if that link does not work use this one.name of the program Dreamcast Movie Maker if u dont feel like reading for it use that to search with in the page.

iam having trouble downloading the dreamcast movie maker program.it wont work.looks like a broken link.not the sfd.zip the actual dreamcast movie creator program.

i also found it on XBoXZoNE.no-ip.org dc hub.one of the user seem to have a version that is 8.07 mb zipped.too bad he has no free slots ever.(i searched the key words dreamcast movie creator)

i just want to know if i order a coders cable with the states it wont be sent back right.ive read in many place that people who order the coders cable from lik sang dont recieve it because its illegal and get letter sent to them.is this true.but if i ordered with the united states it would get delivered right.

i just wanted to know is it worth buy a game that are white label that were released to the press for review pupose for like 9 bucks(they are full games)for example jet set radio,space channel 5,sega gt.the only prob is that they are pal versions.so what do i need to make them run on my american dreamcast.i doubt a import boot disk thing works on pal right.

to dash, talking about sfd2mpeg but some games dont have sfd files so i wanna know what the other format is or if the movies are just in some type of compressed files.

i thought they had to be in sfd format oh well,also do u know anyother format cause some games have movies and stuff but they are not is sfd so there has to be another format.

some of isos have mpeg that are executable by my pc i thought they were supposed to be encoded and in dreamcast video format or something?

does any one know if dc hubs have dc isos in their original form(ripped off using the coders cable,1 gb)iam interested in burning them using gigarec,i cant do it my self since my pc has everything except a damn com port.if anyone has them can they grant me a slot.(giga rec can record 910 mb on 700 mb cd-r so the minimum downsampling would be required.)it apears that dreamcast can read giga rec cd-r's but are not selfboot.

my chankast window shows the games a bit too dark is not so good for some games i took snapshots of one of the games and animated them to show how dark it is u can see them hereMy Webpage(the animated gifs are rather large may take some time to load)can anyone tell me if i can make chankast run the games lighter or something.

i found a couple of sites with downloads of hacked firmware for yamaha 400 and a dvd 303s.these hacked firmware should allows these drives to read gd-romS?dont since i dont have any of those 2 and i read on boob! that some one smart hacked their dvd 303s firmware to read gd-roms i downloaded them but cant use it.

try dc hubs(classic sega) but u will only find christmas version i still cant find the reg version

iam thinking of ripping my games and i found a dc coders cable for 25 bucks and a bba for 125 bucks.dc coders cable is cheaper but slower plus i could use the net with bba.but before i make a choice i want to know if the codes cable is good for any things else besides game dumping and demo testing.also i wanna if japanese bba work on american dc's

i think it would be better to come up with a 1 gb cd-r but i dont think it would be compatible with all burners.

but i read its more like doubling the cd-r space than over burning.packing every tighter than just pushing it away.
