Gameplay everytime.... BUT have you ever turned on a classic retro game you loved as a kid then thought... OH NO, I just ruined some great memories of a game I once thought was AMAZING and well actually... Its pretty naff ! now love me or hate here, but one of those games is out Outrun..... Yet older games like Track N Field I can play and never get board ! Now you if you play an AMAZING LOOKING game say on PS3 and it can just seem unplayable... So you want an example.... Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising (nice thread by the way) sure ace i know what your sayin watch a film hear a song you once liked and it just doesnt seem as good its the same for some games but everytime i play paperboy enjoy it as much as i did in 84 when i dropped my 10p in the slot and gave it a go love that game

as far back as i can mind graphics have always mattered to some gamers sure i like a pretty picture the same as the next guy thought uncharted 2 had the best idd ever seen on a console but 10 seconds later im playing the game never thought about it again prime example crysis 2 everyone bangin on about the graphics but its just another 1st person shooter thats no diffrent from the other 1000 or so shooters on the 360 and i see its now found its way into the emu scene theres topics on here about pixel perfect etc and fair play if thats your thing first thing i check with any new emulator update is what new games will play and if there anygood.for me personally gameplay has and will always be the most important where do you stand on this graphics or gameplay what rocks your boat more

youve not seen these carillion guys they hit your house team handed maybe 10-15 at a time. these guys make the krays look like angels, their not like good proper builders they dont give a fuck and if you start being nice pots of tea etc they start dragging the job to keep on getting some.heres an example the plasterer and the plumber who were working in my house got into a fight at 8 in the morning outside my flat and one smashed the other with a hammer thats the kind of nutters you get plus theres 10-15 of them. i hear you buddy problem is got no evidence ,it was over a year ago the work was done threw out ruined carpet and if i take pictures of my white goods they will say ive no proof carillion workers done the damage but tell you what before the work starts this time im photographing the whole fuckin house. feel kinda bad moaning when youve told me the state theyve left your house in hope they sort it soon mate!!!

won a watch 2 years ago got a great wee council house in a crackin place no neds no drunks or druggies no teen party houses really quiet area big change from where i was living a huge scheme will alsorts of fuckin idiots so everythings goin good new house new start great neighbours then its my turn for the carillion treatment last year i get a letter from the council im getting a new kitchen and bathroom now idd heard allsorts of horror stories about the buiding company that do the work there called carillion if youve had any dealings with them youll know what i mean anyway long story short they more or less wrecked my house had a month of absolute hell scumbag workies huge mess everywhere left with no water or power for days on end water leaks power failures ruined my cooker my carpets put big dents in my fridge and washing machine fucked up the design for my kitchen got no compansation for that got no redecorating payment either had to do up my house again bit by bit just got back looking nice and guess what just got a new letter saying im getting rewired getting new windows and a whole new central heating system which for some reason the council have decided that all my old pipes have to come up from under my floor and the new ones be put in the walls??? WTF anyway to top it all off they wont say how much im getting by way off a redecorating payment so experance tells me it will next to fuck all really gettin sick of this shit yeh as david cameron says im really lucky to be living in a council house hope i win the lottery and get the fuck out of here

Aha! I wondered how long it would take before somebody spotted this. Support for Genesis games has been removed, FBL is now arcade games only. If you want to play arcade and console games under the same UI then you know where to go. arcade only excellent!!!

BPs working on coinops 3 which will be released later this year please feel free to post any requests for games features etc here and hopefully he will add them ok ill start the ball rolling would like to see: 2 more games added to the midway core rampage world tour and stunrunner would like to see: new revamped controls for all lightgun games similer to the way its done in FBL or latest PC versions of mame BTW this is an unoffical requests thread im in no way connected with BP postin this off my own back

have tried changing the speed etc but never tried mapping to dpad will give it a go 2nd that would like as many as possible in FBL PS wish i was here a few years back when you supplied the ini

idd love to play zombie raid in FBL because the crosshare controls are far better in this emu than in coinops please use this post to let the super talanted devs know what lightgun games you would like to see added to FBL and maybe at somepoint it might just happen

Do you know of any other games besides Psikyo that don't save DIP switch settings? i dont have a full rom set just my fav games that play better in FBL heres what ive found all games that have dip as part of emu save settings for games that dip must be manually activated neo geo pgm cps2 also save ok ive only found 2 that dont they are osman and charlie ninja

I've added a button to the controller config screen for Cave games that that you can hold down to access the diagnostics. last time im goin to mention dip switches cos youll start thinkin im a dip stick in coinops when you change the settings they are saved so you dont have to do it every time you start a game but in FBL when changing the dip on some games the change isnt saved ie psikyo any chance you could add a save all dip settings option

metal slug 3 works fine for me it might be a rom issue your end

coinops loads these games in a diffrent mame core so you need to make pointer files and add them to your main rom folder make 5 zip folders on your pc leave them empty and name them MI_1 MI_2 etc put these in your rom list and put MK MK2 etc in romsmidway folder now scan and the games will then show up and youll be good to go
