  1. Well, my bet is on the article, or at least parts of the article, as fake. Some of those "variations" are pretty elaborate. However, if it is real, since apparently these groups do it to each other, then maybe the stupid people have found a way to stop themselves from breeding.
  2. What's that from, iq_132? And are there others?
  3. How did he give himself away? I mean, how did you know he was getting on your comp?
  4. I have no clue on the DC emulation, but you're going to catch hell for mentioning that site. There's a "no mention of sites that offer illegal crap" rule here. Other than that, I'm sure there's someone who knows how to help you. Just a friendly tip!
  5. Alright, everyone else is doing it... I'm the one doing the damage: You might say I look something like a 22 year old, slightly less built and probably a little too short, Takuma. And Fatal, you look more like Jacky Bryant than Lee/Violet, at least you would if you didn't look so stoned.
  6. Bwahahaha, Fatal likes a cosplayer: http://www.cannonspike.com/CamFan/Cammy-co...ylie-cammy4.jpg JK, she's hot, but kinda old, and not hot in that picture. Rachael Leigh Cook, Kiera Knightley, Natalie Portman.. those are more my style. But we're OT now...
  7. She is kind of scary, especially her face and the bottom of her ribcage.
  8. Yours looks different though, almost like it's hosted here (on 1emulation) rather than at Imageshack. What's up with that?
  9. Dogma? Anyway, as of last week, I use mostly these two (I use multiple desktops for various things, it's the numbers in the lower right): The address bar on top of the first one slides in when you put your mouse on the top of the screen, keeps a history, and will open whatever you input in Firefox (or act as a Run line if you input something local). I guess I didn't have my mouse over it in the second one. It's just a conviniently placed windows toolbar. And until last week I was using this: http://www.reapermini.com/goodies/desktops...Maiden_1280.jpg and this: http://www.reapermini.com/goodies/desktops...Maiden_1280.jpg Oh, and how do you guys make those cool thumbnail links?
  10. Ah ok. Yeah, I kinda liked the EX games, they were different enough to be cool. Dr. Dark was l33t. And I was looking forward to All-Stars, damnit.
  11. Looks interesting, especially the way she appears to be dodging those swings. I tried watching the anime, but the weird way the colors were blended kept throwing me off. I'll try it again when I'm out of Naruto.
  12. Ohh, that think, random rambling on why 2d advocators(the ones that really want NO change at all) fanboys suck. As for Thrid Strike, it's much better. I like my rosters nice and balanced. And I liked the art. And new arc = better. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The art was good, it was the new character designs I didn't like. Elena, Ibuki, and Alex were cool. Makoto and Sean were at least interesting takes on a standard design. Yun/Yang and Remy were pretty uninspired. Hugo was a nice thought, but he came out looking completely retarted, and is an insult to the deceased he is meant to honor. Dudley likewise. Necro, Oro, Q and Urien/Gill look like Darkstalkers rejects. Twelve I'm going to let slide, although he really belongs with the DS rejects too. Like I said, the art was good, but even a master painter couldn't make most of that subject matter look cool. And I'm still curious which titles were the "something new," etc. Not for arguments sake, just beacuse I want to know.
  13. Technically, to host your own webpage, all you need is a copy of Apache (Free), and for Port 80 to be open (a lot of cable companies block it so people won't host pages). If port 80 is closed, there are tricks to get around it too. Then, people can see your stuff by going to http://111.111.111.111 Where 111.111.111.111 is replaced by your WAN IP address. To have an actual domain name like "1emulation.com" you've got to register a domain name with a registrar (I recommend godaddy.com) for actual money. Then, when someone goes to "www.whateverdomain.com", they will be secretly forwarded to your WAN IP address, or whatever IP address you put.
  14. I was refering to Third Strike. To what in particular were you referring with your "something new," "something old," "fix a lot of problems?"
  15. Yeah, the reviews after november or so are really good on that one site. However, I'd be cautious.. Previous to november, they have nothing but bad feedback, and all of a sudden people are singing generic praises and saying the've been there forever? 5 of them on the same day? Yeah, it seriously looks like someone is padding their reputation on that site. Take those praises with a bag of salt.
  16. Probably not for the best to link to it anyway. They distrobute roms there. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> roms= great fun but no roms=1emulation <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And Spam Factory = Ryuken
  17. Double PFFFT! Street Fighter III was more "hardcore" or whatever, but CvS 2 was a lot more fun for me and my friends. There hasn't been a fighter since CvS2 that got all of us around the TV at the same time (Except for VF4:Evo, but that's not 2D). SFIII got the really good ones among us interested long enough to beat it with a few characters and whoop on each other a bit. But, between the small number of characters, god awful character designs, annoying music, and unusual movesets, it didn't keep any of us interested for long, and certainly didn't grab the casual fighter fans' attention. I'll admit, if you can get past the god awful characters and the music, there is a really deep game behind SFIII, and they took a lot of chances changing up the movesets, which I respect. I don't think it's a bad game, and it's sure to be the hardcore players' favorite, but if we're comparing them as timeless fighters with universal appeal, I'd have to give it to CvS2. Sorry to disagree with you as soon as you got back. It's nothing personal!
  18. Just so you know, you don't need the KOF2003 NeoRAGEx hack. EGCG plays it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Which version of EGCG? I think I have the latest one but I don't think Kof2k3 will run on it.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I don't think mine does either... I'll have to try it again, but I'm pretty sure it (The one I got off your site agoz) didn't work...
  19. Gryph's day reminds me of mine.. -Wake up about a half hour before and pound snooze until 7. (10 on M/W/F) -Wash up and throw on some clothes, head out to school. -Park across the street because some biatch stole my parking permit at the beggining of the semester, and walk to class. -Try to stay awake in class, unless it's tues/thurs morning Java, in which case I usually check 1emu, then head home. -On Tues/Thurs, return to school at noon for one more class, then go back home. -On any given day, it's between about 12:30 and 1:30 by now, and I usually eat lunch and check 1emu. Then, play some video games, do some homework, and hang out with my girlfriend, in varying proportion (depending largely on my girlfriend's schedule and the spitefulness of our teachers). - At about 5/6, have dinner, often with girlfriend, then back to games/homework/girlfriend. - If the girlfriend's around, the rest of my day is basically spent with her, until she goes home around 10-11. If not, it's more games/homework, along with chatting with buds on IM and occasionally starting some wack ass project like a website or something that will occupy the "games/homework" slot for a few days. - I'll head to bed between 11 and 1 or 2, depending on what's going on. If I stay up late, it's usually because I'm playing a new game (HL2 recently) or catching a few episodes of Naruto before bed. That's the usual weekday for me. Who really cares though?
  20. What problems did you have with NRX? Between the 0.8c version, the EGCG version, and the KOF2K3 hack, I've been able to play every rom I know of just fine. Of course, I guess that means three emulators could be replaced by one.. Hmm... Kawaks has always been a pain in the rear for me, perhaps I'll have to look into it a little further...
  21. It's the biodegradable plastic that's the point, not the flower. As far as that's concerned, this seems awesome, but if it really "degrades into soil when discarded" then people better be real clear what "discarded" means before they buy it.
  22. Congrats again you two! It was your helpfulness that got me stuck here in the first place.
  23. I'm down with Wintermints too, but what the hell is a "water mint" or a "penny royal?" And kyokugen, isn't your sig a little large?
