Im sure micro-purchases count as dlc... IF so, do games like farmville and such rake in a lot of dough with their $1.00 and such extra things pple buy?(i dont know many games such as those btw).

Yeah i personally would have just kept them in training mode and practice until the release date. My friend made a fair point, its not like you're getting 8 or 12 characters.. You have over 20! So all these characters that you have now are all enough to experience the game fair. The same can be said about the ME3 dlc, but those are apples and oranges in a sense.

Well in this case, it was because the endings didnt justify all the work that was done up until then. Bioware tugged too many strings this time, when you have franchise and promises like what they made i guess it becomes more than just "oh yeah it was good but the ending sucked," people wanted to see the tons of choices they made throughout the three games take effect. Oh and I do remember someone from bioware stating during ME2, "you can switch love interests but for those who stick with thier previous one, you'll be greatly rewarded in ME3"(Super paraphrasing). Then when the whole love scene came and went, I was like, was that supposed to be my reward or something?

DLC is embedded in stone, the online passes are still going some rough rough turbulence, hopefully it only becomes a rarity. I mustve underestimated the damage business like GameStop do to these game companies. Because I keep hearing this flack about preventing used game sales. I dunno their profit gain for each game release so i dont know if its true or not.

What would you be looking for? Just news in the "gaming world" or would new games itself qualify. I can bring some news just wanna mimize the fodder.

Devia you said the ending sucked, can you explain the "controversy" of the ending, and why isnt it just something that we just took in stride besides the reason, "I put a lot of time in this game." I guess i could look up what pple say but a personal exp is always recommended.

so u dont buy new games at all? Define "new"...if you mean when they are first released, then no as I do not have the sheep mentality where I have to have it too. Probably helps that I don't care much for online play. If you mean new as in unopened, yes I have bought games that are new and sealed, when they've hit a ~$20 price point. The asking prices on new releases are absolutely disgusting. NOw i never bought snes games when i was kid cuz my big bro bought them but doesn't the price scale the same as the dollar become less valuable(pulling out of a$$ btw) .But I agree with waiting on the price, the only thing is it sucks for those who want a game for online play. You kinda have to come in on it early otherwise mostly everyone will have learned all the tricks and you'll have to get used to getting destroyed....A LOT. I call it the MVC3 syndrome. I do feel a certain obligation to pay 60 bucks for some games if it seems they put a lot of effort into it. same with movies. But pre-orders imo are dumb becuz im preordering something that i have no idea or a vague idea on how it will play. THat means, I visit red-box or blockbuster before buying.

well the marvel vs cpacom partition seeme to went well, but then again i think capcom would have one that eventually anyway. But IMO, no- it wont work. Bioware has been pretty careful on making a official statement because they pretty much know that since aren't please with the day1dlc, that they have to respond very carefully. My thought is even if they do give decent endings, it should be lackluster for ANYONE who hasnt played the game already through because you know that this was not the supposed canonical ending but something put together to please the fans. Just like in the death and return of Superman, you cant fix a bad ending once published, I think pple should just count their losses and not support it from here on.

Just a suggestion, we could also place recent big news regarding games, animation, movies porn*cough* etc. I know i just gave very broad topics but perhaps we could have better flow if someone posts stories that every other forum has going on. There are some news that have yet to be posted on 1emu, but when I view my other 5 forums that i visit, this topic has been thoroughly discussed/debated and still going on. Either way I thought it would be cool to look at the front page and see more than "new emulator released". (and yeah i know the website is called 1emu) I know we do our own thing but that was just a suggestion. P.S. - It is possible that you already do this and i just miss it, if that is the case then please correct me.

ByTheWay, this whole Online Pass, is gonna become more common and more a piss in your face in the future. Im not sure if online pass is considered a dlc but it's still a silly trial against used-game sales.

Now I've NEVER seen such hate for an ending that people would gather up and demand change for it from Bioware/EA. I've played TONS of great games with underwhelming endings and i'm like, "man that ending sucked but it was a good game" but for some reason, this game is an exception. So im sure many have played but after seeing the ending Im not really to hard on the ending but perhaps someone can explain thier take for those who are NOT happy with the ending. Why is is such a big heartache? Either way... THIS IS NOT THE WAY....

Im not sure about the genration of dlc, lol. I grew up with the good ol sega genisis and snes back when i was young but I remember (around 15) gaming struck a new plateu when online became common, ergo XBL. Maybe that makes me the dlc generation, if so i didnt know ^^
