ok features will be to make easier rom selection ive just done a new skin for it. And listing the roms with a link to pick and info like that one would help me out heaps. Ive added 5 odd roms so far but really would like more or for someone to compile a list for me to look at of whats been recommended. Sorry I dont have to much time to do stuff...but it doesnt take much time just really need for people to say what they need added and for you guys to agree then ill add them. As ive added my known top games and the ones mentioned ive never really seen. (was looking for 2 people to recommend same game although ill look at all recommendation). So please compile an easy list of recommended stuff someone and ill look and write it soon. There not to much mentioned really so patch wont be that much of a patch Peace again

they dont work.........black screen for me sorry time is running out for decent decisions...id like to sort anything out but really there hasnt been much constructive feedback to work with, ive look at all the roms said previously 80percent seem fine to add. but im thinking i might just give you rom adding and you guys can add non / bad working roms or they may need a dat update or keys are all wrong. But you will have control and these decisions will be yours. Pretty please if you want me to work on this I need a few more thoughts and exactly if you want more roms or your own rom adding. Peace

if people want ill release a patch allowing rom adding and deleting and people can live with the errors and not being intergrated into sorting correctly.... its up to you guys. I dont mind if you guys want control if so let me know ill rebuild tommorrow and leave it up to you guys......if not I can sort it all properly but it will be locked sort of....there is easy ways to force it to reload roms, but that could be disabled. I dont understand if you want rom selection use HK$ build its a full interface. Anyway if you want more roms features let me know, if you want control of your roms let me know and ill release it. It would be easier for me to let you guys do what you want than for me to added remp the keys, change the caviate etc Let me know guys I cant read minds the people that requested roms would you rather you can just add delete your own roms?, alot that havent tried dont understand why I stripped stuff etc but the proof to me is in using and no complaints to how it works and no real bugs found which is great.

ive locked it +T+ but I can give a version with rom selection but there are so many errors in the standard MAMEdox this is why I locked the roms and fixed all the stuff up so you can play it without all the errors. Its allways been wierd why so many want all the roms and dont notice all the errors. Anyway this version wont be much diff from MAMEDox 1.1 apart from a slightly redone interface but if you really want it PM me.

ill look at every game mentioned..... if they run ok and are okish games ill add them this week. So you have one week to list games and features for the patch

please recommend roms to add if they are any good ill add a patch with rom removal a few more little features and some more games....right now there is only battle toads its up to you guys to recommend more games for me to look at for the patch and no one has. Hope you like it now anyway I use it alot

turn on you favs and hit black and roms with disappear . There are complications to let you choose your own roms which is why I have disabled the features. As stated 100 times this build works and has little to no issues. If you dont mind fixing everything yourself use Mamedox 1.1 or HK$ build this allows full rom control (you wont get a dat as I changed most dats in that build to fix any issues with sound or whatever). This is a one click build of what was most wanted and if I give control ill see alot of incorrect stuff. Also as stated if someone has ways to improve game sorting/launching or rom changes let me know if its agreed to by the masses ill release a patch to add stuff. But I didnt release it and have no idea how to even get it. But I hope people like it and if they really want someonething changed ill do it properly and release a patch. Ill never adding in rom adding, i would add rom deleting if people wanted it, and i would add roms if requested by a few people. Cheers

i can easily look at that........no games missing. Ive slighty updated it so if you press a key on a game it shows detailed mode of everything about the game when you let the key go it returns back to the list....... 50/50 weather its needed or just a feature for no reason, in which case ill remove it. Did you work out favorites and how easy that part is also sorting by game types is cool if you press y and fast jump though all the catagories

mame skinning engine is pretty easy..... wont take someone long to make a nice looking skin

Any question or suggestions post here, and maybe if they are good ideas I will make a patch to add extras to it. But with little help and mainly concerns I created this. But now if you have seen it and like it and think of good extras (this isnt extra mass features its ways to to make rom selection more enjoyable and user friendly and a nicer interface) let me know as this is the way I think mame should be. PS any reviews would be nice PS if you want total control and to play around this isnt for you, stick to 128HK build or Mamedox 1.1 or even mameox or even bendermikes mameox all options are there and its all good. nope sorry gave everyone the optunity to add more roms but no one wanted to help. HK$ build allows rom selecting. PM with them if they play ok ill add them and submit a patch this collection I dont want silly questions so it is what it is and it all works and I locked out changing Ill listen to any requests but if added ill add screenshots keymapping and reset up sort catagoies properly cheat and some other stuff.

are you playing off dvd or hdd. If you are playing off dvd (which works badly) you will need to iso the program to xbox format. Tdata and Udata must be transfered for it to work to E:/tdata and E:/Udata you can burn the image file of the key/save and run that (if this isnt done it will sound like its continously loading).

yeah it should use vm.txt file if off in settings other wise if on it will use settings, the big games are samso5 so using its vm.txt will load slower but save heaps of mem try that one if it doesnt work with that im stuck (normal way to do this is start slow with great mem save and slowly work down till it doesnt work then back it off one). As I say I had one rom that I couldnt get to work on my 1.6B with vm.txt but could though settings no idea why so I left it out(it should have worked with vm.txt but never would even though the settings for it loaded with not much mem at all). You seem to have same issue. There is an issue with warriorblade rastan 3 it didnt work from vm.txt on orig drive for someone then they used a big hdd,it worked fine. Im unsure about why this is at moment due to the fact it works for me on all tested xboxs.....

Ok i left out rampage world tour because I had same thing.......sorry dont know why this is must be bio or something its very wierd. Rampage world tour only booted for me with vm from settings, but on another xbox it worked from vm.txt cause i couldnt test it I left it out. Yeah but enjoy anyway.....write sort review on it please. And let me know anything you would like improved or added

with vmm off cyvern should run fine as all other should, just change the file to what I said if it doesnt, it will make it slower to load but better vmm so it shouldnt say out of mem for you. When vmm is off in settings it will use whats in vm.txt if its on it will use what is in settings to use.

make cyvern 8 16 65535 and see if it works. It works fine for me the way it is on installer its strange it doest for you it isnt a soft mod I hope? and also what bio M8plus or 4981 and above?

try loading the save again..... and checking the vm.txt in root is on and in the file reads a vm for those 2 roms. Ill be home in 3hours and ill look at what should be there and post it. But they do all work as the installer is. As I play both quite alot. So ill post what settings should be but id reinstall vm.txt and save and all should be fine if not get back to me again.

are you on a big hard drive, I believe maybe some small drives are having a few issues or maybe its playing it off dvd. I would not recommend turning on vmm in setting. In MamedOX/vm.txt you can add in the name of the rom with the same numbers as mslug5 has, this will load slower but garentee it will not run out of mem. For large hdd users all games should work perfectly. Not to sure what the diff is and very few wont work. I could resetup for a standard drive if it cause people issues ill resend a new vm.txt for them hope all is understood if not get back to me and ill post fix for you.

I use cheap mods....the cheaper the better they are a 10th of the cost and easy to install plus do everything you want just use a boot disc with all feature on that

its getting really close now maybe a day or 2 off......

platium does not need roms its all done for you, its not very customisable but its pretty much error free and ready to go now........for those that are sick of trying to set it up and work it out and want no errors everything working this is for you. Buy the way without hacks Mame is full of errors unless 100s of files are changed this is all done here for you, you can play it and all games work have art etc and are keymapped correctly so they all play like you just walked into an arcade with 700 machines. if you want to pick and match and setup everything thats needed, just the new mamedox 1.5 or $HK build is needed and it will use the same dats as 1.1 for mamedOX 1.5 but have one diff dat (samshow 5 sp has a sorted rom to get sound working correctly).
