both are the same really.....platium is slightly different in the fact it has different dats and is a hacked up version......but it has the advantage of having screenshots, roms, keymaps, cheats, samples, sorted cavis and is ready to go with most favorite games. So you dont have to much around its an all in one package. The other is just eh emulator so one is 3.2 gigs the other is 15megboth will be out in a few days

i have decided since mamedox has so many errors........ I will release a one off build best build properly sorted. Its done now who wants to release it.??? contact me there are so many errors I removed like some roms only the clones worked but the parent games show and dont work.....I removed stuff like this so it works correctly. Mamed1.5b isnt current anymore I have made more changes on it but now it is locked to a perfected package. I have changed some dats to sort some sound glitchs etc and did what ever it took to the roms and xbe to make it more user freindly....no errors......and more pretty This will be great for 95 percent of people the extremist can live with all the error and there are many.......that is because it is locked at.84 dats I used what ever worked and merged clones with parents etc to make sure no roms didnt work. So someone contact me for release this build I garentee for 95 percent is exactly what they are looking for the other people that want everything errors and all and want to play around alot well mamedox 1.1 and HK$ are great. Basically this is a sorted rom collection with improved sorting and nicer interface. All stuff is hacked so all games work and are tested....all renamed all cheats all keys work (unlike HK$ and mamedoX). Basically install and there is 800 pf the best arcades easy to sort and select and all work no issues. Dats I will never supply it is what it is, a hack for myself so there is no errors with the games I want to play and easy to find the game I want to play and nice looking.

sounds silly to me, 20percent of them dont run, 40percent of them are clones and another 10percent run so bad I wouldnt run them. I have a sorted rom set all setup properly ive tried releasing but many talk about helping but hinder instead......... and mines all been going for long time and is more upto date than mamedox 1.5. But be warned if someone wants to bring it light it has 800 sorted rom titles all working no clones all top games everything is setup correctly to use in easiest fashion.... and lots of options removed PS that didnt work like history etc. If you want full rom package id recommend using Mamedox 1.1 or $HK but these have many issues eg Samsho5sp sound glitchs on mamedoX 1.1 sorry its faulty...... Keymapping is wrong so is cavator and many more issues I fixed but hey just because 5percent of games need remapping thats only about 200 out of the 4000 shouldnt take more than a few days or just have the games shown on the list unplayable Here is the list again I have, there is probably about 50 more from over the years people have recommended and if they worked well I added them and keymaped setup screenshot redid catagories for easier sorting add any samples etc needed. if your working on it but want to release to release something big in the mame scene for xbox like a full release PM me..... Ive done it all properly allready well one perfect DVD installer. Everything is keymapped and checked correctly all Cavars are perfect for sorting ummm everything is done perfectly error free all the games most would want. In fact if the scene wants a proper one stop solution to all xbox stuff someone would need to post it and somehow I need to get 4gigs transfered.

MAMEdOX was stolen Bendermikes source with improvements and a few of them by HK$ himself PS you can have full names or shortened names no problems at all

we enter a wierd time, hk$ build looks like it may have some great new games, bender may have new.97 build and I may have drivers for midway rolled back would be way better to merge all the findings but this isnt really happening, I have customised a skin to my new front end I did and it wont work on benders or HK$ although if asked id port it pretty quick to theres no worries. I really like my new front end alot better than standard front end and find it much easier to sort roms and pick the rom I like. New icon as well

I guess its all good, the screen tearing thing worked really badly. And the tearing I didnt see before became really bad would you play send me the cpp for graphics manager so I can check I did it correctly Also is it PAL / NTSC thing? 50/60hz thing Anyway Ive done it all bar adding in old midway stuff if it goes and testing light gun as I dont have one. Id disagree with HK$ you should just intergrate all the MamedOX stuff then you would only need one EMU . Cheers I though people where all using your build but lately I had a huge amount of people coming back so I personally would like to see the 2 intergrated into one. Cheers

I did some skinning and I tidied all the back end menus from all there old legacy rubbish to make a clean interface. Pics are at the top of the new skin. And I might have a surprise for you guys we will see if the mystery man fixs the mystery but if he does he will be god to me, also repaired light gun

I could compile it anytime, asked for people to test on xboxscene as I use a total diff build than what I would do for public. EG roms are all renamed. If you want to test I can compile it but most use HK build by looks and I personally dont like it but I will never be even capible of adding all the stuff he has I only wanted screen tearing gone and an easy to choose interface.
