I apologize but I might be taking this offtopic for a moment. Theres something that bothers me with these new processors. Now I know this might sound absurd. But please bare with me. How come a centrino core duo isn't equivalent or more powerful than a pentium 4? I've ran some test.. The only thing I've noticed is that the centino core duo has some extra stuff but it isn't faster than a p4. Centrino core duo clocks at 1.83ghz (which is as far as i was told it could go) and most P4's goes above 2.00ghz. (Now this is where it sounds obsurd..) How can this be if a 7yr old P4 is faster than a 1-2yr centrino core duo? or maybe im seeing this the wrong way? I mean 1.83ghz doesnt seem much... I imagine practicly all window live games would run like crap with a processor clocking at 1.83ghz and maybe a much faster performance change to a 2.00ghz processor? If you would like photos of what I got with CPU-z on both processors, let me know.

- I "use" to beta test games like rr6, cameo, crack down, halo 3, cod4 occassionally for xbox live before it gets released. Until alittle exploit ruined the fun on 360 =/ - I Mod/fix broken consoles: like ps2's, xbox 360's, xbox 1. - I use to help moderate at the DC Icarus forums. - I recently figured out how c/c++ works - I practice almost everyday journalism about video games and keep them in a book that no one will read but me. Satisfaction I consider my self a failure alot and im never happy with what i have or have achieved or even who I am. I like to find ways on how I can improve myself, I also like to help others. Cautious Im also a very cautious person and I like to take extra steps incase something goes wrong. I think alot :/ I always think about my life and what im doing every single day. Life I worry about my future everyday. Nationality Im spanish and half of my grand parents side is french so I know more spanish than french my spelling is terrible. though, I know english as you can see. What do I do when I have nothing to do? I put some music on whatever rock/pop/house/mix and when no ones around I start singing and dancing around and cleaning the house in my undies or whatever their called. heh it only gets worse

That's not true, you can still be banned even if you're console is offline. It does not matter if your ethernet connection is disconnected or not. Once that console signs to any type of profile all of your records of games you played will get transfered to microsofts servers and they will see the keys if the keys are different from the retail keys then you will be banned just not immediately. Also, in this dashboard firmware microsoft is recording older xbox 1 titles aswell. you will notice that its recorded along with your games played. Even if you decide to use a non live profile. once that console gets connected it gets recorded. The only way you can bypass this is not use any profiles at all.

My vote goes to Xbox live why? read below Though xbox live charges for online play, there is also the silver membership and what you get with that is access to you're friends list, Downloadable Content, Movies (which are really good IMO, especially the ones you've missed in the movies theaters) you also get updates to games, firmware updates to the dashboard, arcade games that are actually worth playing, achievements which you can show to everyone, you're own gamer zone, if you are a casual person or a hardcore gamer. However if you are a silver membership user you get new content about a week after they were released i believe. If you do happen to flash your drive's firmware you will mostly be at risk of getting your console banned and also, they don't ban you're IP they ban you're consoles serial key. In order to get back online you would need to perform a timing attack and obtain a new key from another xbox 360. So yes this is far different from a normal eeprom.

I don't blame them, they probably feel horrible working for a company that orders them to lie about a game, that's just wrong... All for the sake of money. If you want money then put more time into the game, if CNet wants to keep its game devision of its network they need to stop accepting bribes from lazy game developers. I played Kane & Lynch though it looked good. The gameplay feels cheap, and it only feels much worse playing on the ps3 with a sixaxis controller.

Very disturbing news to hear... we live for peace, yet for the price of it we cause harm to others for that peace... Rediculous, wouldn't you agree? Things are looking bad as always and what's sad about this whole thing this could be nothing but the icying. who knows if what we're looking for is right under our noses...

I wouldn't go as far as calling it a commercial failure. It is the most beastly machine this current gen, it just has some shakey online play and some shakey game delays. Also, if you've ever tried a 360, you will notice that the online support is more integrated than the Playstation 3's. Meaning you won't see an embedded market place aka "Online Support Store", Achievements, Matchmaking, In-Game menu access <- though hopefully it's only for the time being. heh... im not to complain, I own all 3.

I never heard of that place before. Sounds pretty messed up to me. But i agree with robert mentioning that music should be free after being around for no more than 10yrs. I think its quite silly how someone could setup something like that. It just doesn't make any sense. Obviously your the owner people can just look up your domain or host and find out where you live, your bound to get busted. Also i've been noticing alot of Raid'ing lately. Smells fishy....

That's just wrong i had love for that site =/ I still dont get why some people, pay so much just to host a page and some emulators also a few forums... I Would never consider paying over $100 unless i had 2 Jobs that pay me pretty damn well. If i had to pay that much i would either purchase a server (which i have) or quit <- which is probably a noble option depending on your situation ;p

Well heres my hypothesis, in the first picture as GC mentioned it was from my 1985. Which also means GC is much older than me since i was born a year after 1985. So basicly one method of figuring this out is analyze who looks the oldest or around mid 30's or early 40's. The other method is spot the same guy in the 3 pictures, which could possibly be a giveaway. and the last and probably most obvious method would be well look at GC's avatar and do some comparing to his avatar and the pictures, Minus the glowy white eyes This is my hypothesis and I may decide to post a pic of my self. To my conclusion, I believe it is the guy that it is in all 3 pictures Pic 1: The guy in center of the picture. Pic 2: It is the guy doing a karate kick. Pic 3: it is the guy on the far left corner who has the tennis ball in his hands. The reason i decided it was that guy, because there is a age difference between each of the 3 pictures. You can tell the difference on how young he was in 1986 to how old he has gotten in 2000.

I've seen alot of this where i live now, The store even had a chinese xbox 360. Next time on my trip to the store i'll take a quick shot at it.

That was my impression also. Halo 3 cant do what halo 2 did, new maps or not. for people that like to cheat they will find this game boring. No super jumps, No super bounce, No combo glitches, stand by'ing, Bridging/Team Bridging <- all that other junk is what kept halo 2 so popular am right or am right?

I didnt even have to pre-order. I walked into a local Gamestop and one of the guys gave me a copy with out a problem, it was right by house. I really did enjoy some aspects of the game. But i admit i got tired of it quickly. IMO The Online Multiplayer maps werent enough.

Oh man... what an easter egg...
