Okay, this is a tough one... Well like the title says, in about a year from now i would like to get into a small project and i was hoping if anyone knew where i could find parts like breadboards, how to make a PCB for final production of the project and well where i could find microprocessors and such like z80?

Lucky, i wish i could atleast get a job with sony imax Turns out my college is hiring for english tutors, i was about to apply, but because i type/write like a total retard, i didn't have the guts to even bother to apply. Atm, im pretty much shooting myself for not even trying.. In a way i feel greedy, having already applied for a job. But, to be honest, i can't just sit my ass on that, as it's not even guaranteed. As for a career, i've been having plenty of thoughts of becoming a cop also, but because im such a weak loser, i can't apply. I've also had thoughts of becoming a doctor, but geeze, a doctor? i don't even know what kind of doctor, plus being at a hospital alone drives me insane. I tried getting a job with AT&T well they never called me back and so desperately i've even tried target, shamefully i failed the questionaire by one point and well that was very frustrating for me, though im sure for many this is laughable. Hmm, i might have to make being a bum as my new career, it sure does look like it's suiting my future fine*sarcasm*... Though, i could try getting a job off the books, but honestly there's no benefits, no 401k other than money, and im looking to have a job that can atleast stick onto my resume and mean something that will help with something else. Surprisingly, last month i was thinking of becoming a journalist, man... okay no more laughing. I've also spent hours browing through craigslist, career builder and monsterjobs (even though, theres no way in hell i would stand a chance).

Okay, I will add it back in like 5hrs from now, i must get some sleep. In addition to that I will do something creative around the weekend, if not by monday. But it just might be the last one. Alright, I added them back, but i seem to have lost my first one on facebook, i really dont wanna go through the hassle of uploading it onto my wall, having my friend wonder why i uploaded her.

I never sleep, cuz sleep is the cousin of death. But on a serious note, my sleeping hours are totally messed up, i would wake up at 12pm sleep at 4am and it's sad.. I would end up hating myself for the whole day, but ofcourse when i do this, i always tell myself "gonna sleep late, because its worth it.. plus i dont have to do shit later".

I've been thinking alot about this, but also im abit surprised at the responses here. At first i wanted to do computer science, but like many others have mentioned here, everyone who likes computers seems to want to get into the computer field. My major was set to computer science last year, but then i switched it to Liberal Arts; im not sure what i want to do, i suppose with that LA degree i could major do something in business, like excel doing spread sheets.. I live in New york, and it's hard as cold shit on a -1 degree winter day to get a job out here. I had a few jobs, but i've been layed off alot. I use to work at Radioshack, Gamestop, little ceasers pizza (manager) and then i use to be a file clerk, which i got layed off before the holidays in 2007. I recently applied for a position at world trade center 7 as a mail clerk, got one phone call about a 2 weeks ago, about submitting my resume, in which i did, but no other responses yet. I agree with veristic, i do have to stand out more, putting my stuff online, selling stuff, providing support and hope that something magical happens. That way if i ever do try to get a job at some big corperation i will have evidence of my work online for attestment purposes.

Im a college student and this has always been a question i've been kicking myself for so many years asking many people. Has anyone ever who attended college ever got to persue their career, well... that's pretty obvious, i guess what im trying to say is, lets say you're an IT student and you're GOOD with computers and someday you HOPE to work with hardware and develop for it, but also SOMEDAY you hope to score a job at a corperation like *cough* MS or even Intel, AMD, VMWare etc... COULD this actually happen for you by earning your BA or MBA in college and maintaining your average to above a 3.0 or higher? In addition to this question, I was hoping if anyone here actually got to accomplish there "Dream Job" sort to speak', Well i was hoping if maybe you could provide some tips and also what you do and what you had to go through to get to where your at today. I know this is a pretty stupid question, but i have to admit, im pretty lost and afraid. I've been attending college for 3 years now and well Im doing "Fine", but besides that all of my friends have been under going job training/placement programs and well they look like their doing too well. Not sure if i should be jelous or i should feel like crap, perhaps i should feel like both. I just really feel lost sometimes when i get into this topic with my siblings, they praise me alot... but sometimes i just feel like im a waste of space, you would think someone who can code, make an emulator, draw (pixel art etc), run and design web pages, would atleast be doing something... like actually persuing his career... which i don't feel like im doing at the very least. Well that's the end of my rant... I look forward to hearing your inputs on this subject.
