Yes, they can be. Also, Gayberts point is moot all due to the fact that he has never played the games he claims as prime examples of them not being art. It's not their representation that create art (for those are just images, and images ARE art), but their experiences. When I'm old I pray I don't shut out my mind like that crazy old fart.

Only thing anyone down here ever buys. I'm usually smoking a cigar when I drink so I can't handle much until later in the night.

http://www.destructoid.com/e3-10-trailer-f...ng-176384.phtml The spiritual sequel to Rez will be playable with it. Child of Eden looks beautiful, and Rez was one of those games I simply could not let go for a long time. I want this sooooo bad.

You could have posted this in spam lol.

Rockband > Shit hero XX They're adding Pro Instruments into the game, where you use instruments (purchased separately) that imitate their real life counterparts extremely well (the guitar instrument has strings in the bottom, but instead of holding the string down on the fret the frets will have "buttons" instead). Same for the keyboard instrument, and the drums (to play the "pro" drums you just need the RB2 symbol set and the game uses all its buttons). After I see the "Pro" guitar in action I'll consider getting it.

The future just called, it's asking wtf happened to video games.

Don't get me wrong, the effects and some of the scenery was beautiful. It's just that a lot of the time all of that comes at the cost of a good story. At the same time somethings in the scenery look lackluster (Alice in Wonderland was beautiful, and its scenery is the only reason I would ever re-watch it, made me feel like I was in a dream. The problem though, is if you start looking in the background, that alone can take away the effect, which is against the point of a background). It is nice to see it, but it can be so much more. I do like that movies are taking new routes, and trying out new things. The problem I have is that creativity disappears for it a lot of the times, modern film-making methods aren't substitutes for basic structure. If you want to make an action film, that's cool with me as well. But even that could have been done better in this film (seriously the dagger opens up a world of possibilities for sick action scenes), but we got a bunch of half-assed free running (I wasn't looking for it but I did catch 2 scenes where it looked like a fail stunt but the scene got panned to a different shot in order to avoid it). This is where I can understand a lot of the "meh" reviews. The action had potential, the story pretty much never happens because of the ending (which I predicted as soon as the robe scene showed up, that was the turning point of the movie for me as well, I was happy until that scene), and yes the scenery is beautiful, but pretty pictures don't make a movie, kudos to the CG department though.

It did get fairly decent reviews, but a lot of the ones I read/saw felt sympathetic, comparing it to Uwe Shit's movies and such.

The thing is that movie had high promise, I saw a lot of good things being done during the production. If I remember correctly the script writer even worked on the original Sands of Time. The action sucked, the story sucked, and the ending... I wanna choke a bitch.

Prince of Persia I wish I could go back in time and never see this shit.

It's because Fatal is secretly a woman, and Inky is afraid to fall for her lovely charm.

I checked out all of those suggestions Jenk, although I will go back and hear out the first three more thoroughly, they all have this rough "old school" taste that just feels too dirty for my ears. I could only ever listen to Biggie with that taste, the other dudes just seem to not mesh well with the beats in the backdrop. Their voices go against the noise when it should be flowing, otherwise it is just poetry being read with rhythm behind the speaker. Some people are cool with that, but I don't even bother with lyrics if the music doesn't compliment the musician. It's too rough on my ears (feels like a itch I can't scratch). Jay on the other hand, I fell in love with instantly, I shall be listening to his stuff for a while , thanks for the recommendation.

They train Seals (well the top dogs at least) to hold their breaths for up to 6 minutes. It's possible .

It's fun, it gives more "purpose" to this already dull life. It's also a game, one where most of the time the only way to win is to become ignorant that the game itself exists. I fucking love/hate that.

Listen to some tunes, go for a walk, shit I'd never thought to see you post something like this, your silence gives off a completely different perspective of who you are. Or just party, rock out with your cock out holmes.

Bumping for a reason, I just heard his new single, it's from the sequel album to the one originally talked about on this thread. Unlike the first time that I heard a single from Relapse, I'm actually moved. I hear the same struggles he went through from his early albums, and a more serious tone I've always preferred from his Slim-Shady counter-part (Beautiful was one hell of a track from that shitty album, it's the best gold I ever dug because until I heard that track, I practically forced myself to hear everything). His "insanity" raps (at least in relapse) were out of date, and the only Slim-Shady induced rhyme that I enjoyed was a bonus track not even on the original disc. Then again that took a serious tone throughout the entire song when compared to the rest of the album, which felt parody. When it comes to this part of Eminem, he already reached the roof with "Kim". Now hearing "Not Afraid" I feel the same way I did from when I heard "The way I am" back when I was 10, that "forget the haters" attitude some of us have to use from time to time in order to achieve what we desire. A lift that shows a possible cause to madness, showing that even though you feel like shit, there is a reason for it. Expressing those mountains in front of us are meant to be climbed, not to stand in front of while we whimper for our parents. Two things before I close this post: 1.I love Airplanes 2, check it out, Eminem went down that same serious route in that song. 2.This was meant to be post in blog, but again, I tested out if I could create one only to meet failure.

Original Star Wars trilogy. Just like when I re-watched the Matrix after not having touched it in a long time, I'm amazed at how different my perspective of the films have become. Though having seen a spur of complaints from the prequels lately on the internet, I hate to say that I notice some similarities between the things they did wrong and the original. At times I'm at a loss because there is never a straight path story wise. This makes me feel as if the things happening on the screen are just happening because they are. You can say it's imitating real life in a sense that, you really don't know what tomorrow will bring. The only real difference that I can see when the same mistakes are executed though, is that the prequels are CG rendered shit. While the original has actual living things slated in their scenes (a complaint I often hear, is that the prequels have too much shit on the screen at one time, like during the chase in episode II between the shape shifter and Obi-Wan, and that that makes the scene barely discernible. Yet the originals are praised for that attribute, one of the reviews I saw even stated that if not for that the scenes would not appear so lively). I plan on watching the prequels shortly after this, the problem I have with that though is that I honestly doubt I'll be able to sit through it all. Just like I can't sit through all of Lord of the Rings. I fell asleep on episode 1 in the theaters when I was ten. Episode 2 I saw when it came out on DvD and I only happened to catch the ending because the few times that I tried to watch it I would fall asleep again. Episode 3 I didn't even bother with, though everyone in my school saw it at that time and praised it beyond all reason, read "Idiots that would consider the Saw series a modern day Picasso praised Episode 3". As to my opinion on the original Star Wars series, I love them. I'm also amazed by the effects used at the time, and can see how Lucas sucks dick when not on a short leash. Creative freedom is something deserved to all, but in this case I feel as if Lucas only thrived because his freedom's were denied with his beginnings.

Do you plan to learn Chinese?

Sounds peaceful, ever had a wild dog chase you? No butter? No peanut butter? Meh... those things aren't really that great anyways, how do you make eggs? Is the communism aspect of China as bad as the history books make it?

Congrats dev . You seem professionally set, hope your personal life turns around soon however ^.^.

Marvel is writing up different intros and endings for each character. They said they wanted the game to have more of a comic book feel than MvC1/2. I'm still flipping coin on whether or not I'll enjoy this game.

Is it wrong to have this resurrected twice? Anyways, I play League of Legends now, I still have WC3 but it's not even installed.

I just read the entire article. The exchange button sounds whack. You hit it + Up or Down/Side Direction to either Launch an enemy into the air, Super launch them, or completely make them hit the floor (Like Down High-Kick in SF). They wanted to make it universal, o and you can use it to tag out mid-air to continue a combo already in place. They added that button in the name of simplicity, so now most combo's won't need to be remembered by button combination, but by character animation. Whoever has higher priority and at least 10 hours of game play into the game, wins .
