My first 2 Zelda games, and my favorite; are the Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons GBC games. Play them both at the same time and you have an adventure to never forget in your memory for years to come. They got me introduced into the series around the same time I got introduced to Megaman X (played the "remake" of X2 on the GBC) and I consider it to be one of the reasons I'm nearly blind today. I wish Nintendo would expand on a game like this more though. To be it was the first time a "Red"/"Blue" version of a game came out and both were worth purchasing. Unlike the Pokemon games, both games do expand and benefit each other after playing through them. My 3rd Zelda game was A Link to a Past. It was alright, I understand what it brought to the scene at the time, but when I played it I honestly wanted to experience the 4Swords adventure more than the classic itself. I did beat it, and it was alright. I just never fell in love with it like some of the local SNES owners here. At the time of its release I was too into Sonic, and barely having any money doesn't give you the option to try out more than one thing. TPrincess was to anti-climatic for me. Not to mention the entire game your expecting a certain someone to appear (you just know he's there), and when he finally does; the game takes a dive to ending too quick. Even though this was my 4th Zelda play through, I really didn't think much of it. It got boring mad quick, and the waggle on the Wii made me feel like I was a lab rat for the "new-generation" control system. Play the GC version if you've played Windwaker or hate waggle. There were memorable moments in the game, just nothing too special. OOT I never got into it, it's not that I didn't like it, I just got extremely bored of it. One day I plan on pushing through that initial boredom, since the majority seem to think it's the best game of the series EVOR. I've also tried the original 2 games, and windwaker to a certain extent. But that's it, those I couldn't finish for practically the same reason as OOT. It just got boring, after remembering my full inventory in my earlier Zelda adventures, I just felt like it was going to be the same shit all over again. Hell the only reason I finished TPrincess was because I forced myself to beat it before I gave it back to my friend who lend it to me.

Acoustic guitar version, played by a dude I found in 20 seconds so don't ask me who he is. OG Super Nintendo version. Yea, my sis was attempting to play it with her guitar, and it just brought back a shit load of memories that must be repeated. Has anybody here tried the DS "re-mastering" of CT here? What's your verdict if so?

I heard the first tune on the playlist, I almost cummed my pants. -
I love my current moniter/t.v by Vizio. 26" and it was refurbished to boot. It's 2 years old and still no problems.

A president getting a noble peace prize for "attempting" to do the things a president is supposed to do. Uhuh...

I played it once on my 360 but didn't have the time nor money at the moment to continue on. I didn't have too much of a problem playing the game on a non HDTV. I've heard the game has changed greatly from when I last played it. XP has increase world-wide by a short %. XP chaining is now from VT's-IT's /rinse repeat. There are books ouside of each outpost/town with XP quests (kill 5 bee's, get 300 XP). You can solo the majority of the grind now to, my mnk is lvl 20 by itself, I haven't even touched dunes. Those are minor changes, there are a ton more but I'm sure they're end-game.

Don't bother unless your T.V has a kick ass resolution. The fonts are designed for HD's. On a side note, I remember playing on my 360 2 years ago. The thing made its fan sound louder than a jet engine. You still need a keyboard to boot, so it's the same thing, on a 360 :/.

What server are you in? Kujata Right now my MNK just hit 18 to unlock sub, and I'm lvling my WHM to 30 so I can unlock DRG and main that for a while.

I'm not legally old enough to drink. But on occasion I'll have a sip of whatever is offered.

Turbo http://www.turbothemovie.com/ It's about games, it was made by students, and it's artistic effects are amazing for a group that is still in their prime. It's about 20 minutes long, give it a shot.

Got back into FFXI. If anybody wishes to play, hit me up. The game isn't as populated as before, but it's still a shit load of fun. Warning: Addicts are advised to stay away from the one thing that could trip them over the edge.

Black chicks look like monkeys. I can never touch one.

Zaraki makes me giggle whenever he smiles . Anyways I just watched it myself, I have to ask why something like this wasn't main-cannoned into the series. The was 10 times better then any of the shit going on in the manga at the moment. I haven't seen the fillers post-little princess bitch but I'm certain they're a lot worse than the movie as well. An anime movie better than a series' arc (especially main not filler), that's a rarity for me.

So everything that I'm taking this semester (even English) sucks balls. I find it extremely easy to loose track and am constantly fighting the screams in my brain for entertainment. So what I'm doing now is, attempting to study in light doses. I'll read for 10 minutes, take notes, try to stick a piece of information in my brain, then go have fun. Come back the next hour and do it again. I plan on doing this until I'm fit to study 30 minutes of every hour for 6 hours to have a total daily study time of 3(and as long as I don't procrastinate, which I've been doing extremely lightly this semester, I'm good, on a plus side I'll end up being able to study my own interests when I catch up). Wish me luck!

Welcome Spaniard. Seems like the entire forum has a wide range of Spanish speaking origins .

I have a routine with the internet (as we all do I expect). It involves 1Emu being visited first out of 8 or so websites. So that I may post here and all that good junk. But then I go off into other sites for entertainment. I expect some of you all to do the same, so which websites do you tend to visit on your daily routine? Here's some of mine . GameTrailers I notice a lot of hate for the website ON the website itself, but it's generally served me well (being a portal for Screw Attack and a bunch of other game sites), not informative when it comes to news, but generally entertaining. Hulu One of my favorite websites on the internet. Promoting the "right" way of doing T.V on the internet. Best of all, it's completely legit (everything is backed by the companies producing these shows themselves). I have high hopes for this site to continue doing what it's doing, and the same way it's doing it right now. If you live in the US check it out, unfortunately the website is locked to that region (sorry Euro's). But hey, that just means you guys need to start pirating more so that the selfish idiots leading the companies of today's shows realize that they work for us. Not the other way around. The Escapist Home of "Yahtzee", a reviewer who is rarely left happy and clamoring more from developers when they half-ass their shit. The website has a slew of other shows and content that should be given the chance to shine. For instance, some of Jason Rohrer's games have been supported by the site (Creator of Passage, something you should all definitely check out). Their forum's are strict but attempt (using it loosely) to promote intelligent flame less debate. At the very least trolls will adore the living hell out of it >.>. Cinemassacre Anybody who delved into the "Angry Video Game Nerd" beyond his youtube/screwattack channel knows that he has his own website. At the moment the website is holding a "Monster Madness" marathon, in where James (his real name) reviews a different movie each day in October. They're 2-3 minutes in length but filled with surprising information. He has a ton of other sub-shows beyond the Nerd (his latest, Board James, where he reviews old school board games) and they are a ton of fun. The website helped promote (thanks to it's "vs." series) my next website, the "movie" equivalent of James on the internet. That Guy With The Glasses That Website With The Long Fucking Name is known for hosting a slew of online video reviewers, everything from movies to comic books (Linkara owns). They're extremely entertaining and expose a lot of the bullshit that the industry is known for across the years (like the 3rd TMNT that I never got to watch as a kid, I'm now grateful I didn't). Visit it and check out some of their stuff , some suggestions: "Nostalgia Critic", "Linkara", "Spoony", "Film Brain", "Benzaie". There are a ton of other reviewers on the site, not to mention besides their videos there are a ton of articles. Kongregate and Newgrounds I know everyone here knows about Newgrounds, but did you know about Kongregate? I think it's the first website to use an achievement system for their flash based games. Creating an opportunity for profit, Kongregate allows you to donate to any artist who's game you feel is deserving of it. Not only that, but every month a few games are chosen to win cash prizes. Doing what Newgrounds did better, and then adding a chance so that the creators get compensated/advertised, I believe that Kongregate is an example of what a lot of sites should start practicing. Also don't think that you can half-ass a game into the website and expect $ to drop down, like I said before, it works off donations. If people don't like your game you ain't getting a dime. Plenty of people bash Flash games, but I feel that the future of the game industry lies in some of the young people producing their own project like it. Some of the games I've played have far better developmental structure than a bunch of shit out in the "mainstream" market today. Promoting the people who try new things is a great thing, and I hope the website continues to do so for years to come. Well, those are all the sites I can link here without breaking the rules. Nothing heavy though, your usual torrent sites/anime sites. Hope you guys share your web surfing discoveries . Maybe go in another forum and share 1Emu as well .

Paramore - Brand New Eyes Their new CD has a few gems in it. But otherwise, it sounds less "Riot" and more chill. Yea they're is still a struggle there, but it's more accepted now, the CD has like 3-4 action heavy songs (This being one of them), but the rest of it is extremely calm. With points made across that I can't get into yet because I've only heard it as a whole twice so far. It won't live up to Riot! by my standards, but they're looking for new ground , which is what I want out of more bands damn it.

Thanks for reminding me that Dead-Alive exists, now I'll remember for the rest of my life. Lawnmowers are cool though. This movie was delicious, I was extremely surprised considering it looked like a shitty romance on the outside. In the end I was happy with what it portrayed, giving the audience honesty over preference of the norm, it was cool.

No joke, you're a "wider" version of my cousin.

Telling a black person they're black isn't racist, it's FACT.

Out of everybody that I know (including myself), I only know 1 person that can fall asleep around 10 or 11 each day without problem. Even then she tends to wake up mid-night incapable of falling back to sleep. Are all your sleep patterns messed up? If I sleep at 10 I tend to wake up at 1 energized and feeling like a new person. If I sleep at 12 though I wake up at 4 tired like hell but unable to go into deep sleep again. But if I stay up past 1, my body simply won't go to sleep until 8-9 A.M the next morning (even right now I feel tired like hell because I went to sleep at 10 last night). I know some of the members here are pretty much insomniacs, anyone else want to join the club?
