I should add that mamedev have promised to remove the mess and arcade subtargets, so if that happens then this will be the last release of MESSUI. It will also severely impact ARCADE32/64, if not kill it altogether. We'll see.

CHD is just MAME's version of the iso or whatever. To support it, you'd need to write up some code, which understandably you probably don't want to do.

It's planned to eventually look in those emulators for anything not in MAME or HBMAME, but it would not have any affect on those emulators. PSmame was different - the author and I worked together to get the merge to happen, which is why he's stopped working on PSmame. He now assists me from time to time.

HBMAME 0.195 has been released. Get it at http://hbmame.1emulation.com PSMAME Plus has been merged into HBMAME. This has added over 4000 new hacks. There is still work to be done, to find and remove duplicate sets, and to rename roms to the HBMAME standards.

Version 0.195 is scheduled for February 28th, although hot weather may cause a delay. This will be 64-bit only. There won't be any more 32-bit builds. The reason is that there are now so many Neogeo hacks that a 32-bit compile runs out of memory while trying to process them all. At the moment the Neogeo driver is split in half, but soon it would have to be split again as it grows. This is cumbersome and messy at the very least, so 32-bit will have to end. 64-bit does not have this problem. The new 64-bit executables will not have the 64 at the end; they will just be hbmame.exe and hbmameui.exe
