  1. VCMAME for .NET2003 released!
  2. About time you posted something! er, I mean congrats, well done!
  3. Kawaks is quite strict about CRC's, so yes, you would get an error if you had the wrong roms. But on the other hand, I had no problems at all with the graphics on 1.54 or 1.55 Can you tell us some system specs, and some games which are affected and in what way? (what do we look for to see the problem).
  4. I thought it strange too. Wifi on the DS is in its infancy, I couldn't conceive of how the university would have even heard of it yet let alone setting exams on it. And why that specific hardware? What if you didn't own one? If it's something you want to do, and need help, why don't you say so. I don't think the technology has come far enough for anyone to give an answer. And, does it mean the DS has to transmit a control signal? I admit I know nothing about this, but is the DS capable of transmitting? What range (distance) are you after? It would be more viable to simply buy a webcam (or whatever) that comes with a remote control. Anyway, enough from me, I'll leave the floor to those who actually DO know something...
  5. Good morning CyborgSuperman, I saw your thread on IQ's forum. Mind you don't get killed by the real Superman. James and I have different ideas of coding, perhaps we need one thread each, and people could choose the one that suits them. (j/k) I prefer subroutines for the decrypt routines because I believe it aids in readability, and a subroutine can be shared amongst drivers. James puts all the code in the DRIVER_INIT, the advantage of this is it's a lot easier to post a single driver on the forum. Each to his own I guess. edit: I'll let James put his drivers up, but if he doesn't want to or doesn't have the time, then I'll put mine up instead.
  6. If you pop into IQ's site, there are drivers for those new kawaks sets, for FBA and MAME.
  7. I'd love to help, but none of those roms match anything I have. The extension of "rom" intimates decryption, meant for neoragex. You didn't say what emulator you are using, or what happens when you run it.
  8. The multi-system emulator Mednafen has been upgraded! >> Get it HERE
  9. Something to read.. much more... http://money.cnn.com/2005/12/15/commentary...dex.htm?cnn=yes (hotlinked picture)
  10. From what I saw at the authors site (in my previous post), the cryptic puzzles and clues are real, as are the secret societies featured. Of course, the people involved in the story would all be fictional, as is the plot.
  11. i hate programs that decide it's update time whether you like it or not.
  12. Here's the plot from the author's site http://www.danbrown.com/novels/davinci_code/plot.html
  13. Rape! That song is "Popcorn" by Hot Butter. And, it's the original version way back from 1972/3. When it comes to music from the 70s, I am the "MusicCop"
  14. I never have to wait... Anyway, the latest update for Agemame is available here, and some notes:
  15. I see you've warned him. I've just removed some more spam posts of his. Now he only has 4 posts. His writing style seems the same as that other spammer Dookie Blaylock.
  16. I saw this posted on elsewhere the other day, just shows neogeo isn't quite dead yet, although the prices won't help. Like IQ, I can wait for it to be dumped.
  17. Just the dat that comes with 2.25 -- that's why I only have officially released games on it. I'm wary of using any old dat found around the net. Evidence the kof2002b dat in our own dat sticky. The codes are exactly what is in Nebula today - and a comparison of the codes used, vs the mame driver, makes it obvious that it would not work. It requires a whole new FIX code - which may not even be in Nebula. One more - Pochi & Nyaa - the gfx codes are 2 2E or 2 2F depending on the romset used.
  18. No changelog exists for 5.28, but here is the one for 5.27: >> Get it HERE
  19. These are the settings used in the official Nebula 2.25; I've left out kof2002b as it doesn't work. Typical [system] paragraph: CartridgeID: 265 GfxCrypt: 2 GfxKey: EC PCM2: 3 ButLayout: 9 Fix: 1E CartridgeID: the cartridge number, located at byte 108 of the p1 rom. Probably has no effect. GfxCrypt: 1 = kof99 decryption, 2 = kof2000 decryption GfxKey: the "extra-xor" for the GfxCrypt PCM2: The decryption method of decoding the v roms ButLayout: I guess this is "button layout". All games = 9, except 8 = vliner, vlinero, 7 = jockeygp Fix: The "driver_init" to be used.
