  1. That attack system was horrible! I hated it. The only people to benefit were high posters and mods - and Superman. I'd heard stories of Tim's methods of appointing mods, and of threads being deleted because he felt like it, etc. The forum had a good core of talkative ppl though. Where will they go now?
  2. This emu runs on the GP32 handheld; what it emulates is a complete mystery.
  3. To be honest, all I know is it's an Arcade emulator written in Java. The homepage link is there for those who wish to find out more.
  4. A Genesis / Megadrive emulator that runs on the GamePark32 handheld. >> Visit the homepage.
  5. Sorry this took a while, the QEMU website was redesigned. >> Visit the Homepage
  6. I suspect there are a lot of people who sympathise with you Cinder. For those who don't know, 'Timmah' is the owner of a@h, user name of Teckel. There are lots of stories about his behaviour, but as I joined late, and never visited that often, I'll leave it to others to explain it - if they want to.
  7. It shows how often I visited there, never knew anything about this.
  8. You cannot request roms on this board. Please read the rules before posting. Have a nice day. (now can someone close this?)
  9. But you've only got to make 1 more post.....
  10. Gamecop's video doesn't run. Nyuuka's ones work though.
  11. Yes, summer is coming.. and I hate summer, it's too hot and the humidity kills me. Winter is my favourite time, all those calm warm sunny days and the absolutely freezing nights. We never get snow or ice which suits me just fine.
  12. Pasofami is a Famicon emulator. Due to the site being entirely Japanese, we can't say anything more. Get it HERE
  13. I think you could be right. My win95 machine has 2x40gig drives, 1x cdrom, 1x cd burner. The bus speed of win95/98 is limited to 66mhz, but I got a patch from Microsoft and bumped the bus speed up to 100mhz. James, I'm not sure what you mean with the system 7 stuff. I got it originally before win98 came out, it was a 300mhz pc then, the processor a K6. One day the fan died, and the processor overheated, blowing itself and the motherboard. I got a new motherboard and a k6-2 processor which is what I have now. I leave the case off otherwise it gets too hot and hangs windows. And, back on topic, I successfully applied a diff patch, and compiled mame 0.101u1
  14. That's good speed for a 733, you've done well. The japanese mame has text consisting mostly of question marks and square boxes. I believe it's running on mame 0.37 beta 16... if that makes sense to you. It's got kof2003 so someone's been busy. Win95, 32 mb? I believe that only applies to the early version. Even dos 6.2 can see 64mb. Mine shows all 256mb, and the motherboard cannot take any more.
  15. I'm planning on getting through work the latest all-singing HP computer at a discounted price. I don't know what the fastest available processor is, but it's what I'm intending to get. The only thing I don't know is when. After that, I won't need to run mame on win95 any more. Another strange thing: this pc (w2k), and the win95 pc both run at 500mhz. This one has 512mb of ram, win95 pc has 256mb. Yet, neogeo games run at 5fps on this one, and 19fps on the win95. Yesterday I found a Japanese mame that runs neogeo at 60fps on this pc. Most interesting.
  16. ui.mak The line is obvious. Just add a backslash to the end, like the other lines have, and uncomment it. edit: i've got mame32 "working" on win95. Just a matter of commenting out the multimonitor support code in properties.c The problem occurs because win95/nt doesn't support multiple monitors, therefore the windows kernel code doesn't exist. For some reason the screen isn't completely filled (black border), but I'm not going to spend much time finding out why.
  17. Nope, what I needed was there, just needed to be commented back in. The win95 code will probably have to be "stolen" from mame - as soon as I identify what to steal.
  18. How many movies questions have there been recently? Probably none. Do you want to include recent releases / news / current affairs info about movies? Personally I don't care about movies at all. But others may be more interested. What do the other members think?
  19. I think the screens should be made larger.
  20. I made a slight change to mame32 so that I can see what's missing. It compiled and worked ok. Next will be to see how to fix it for win95, which I think may take a while to work out.
