Another way, is you find a rom site (almost any rom site). They will have links and/or affiliates. Click on these, and their links, etc. Eventually you will find stuff that google never will.

Someone else has released a very modified mame 0.71 for the PSP. The menu displays 7 games. Unfortunately only one of them works, "Mr Do!", the rest stopping at test screens or nothing. It works in PSPE. The keys in the rom selector are the standard ones: arrow up and down to choose, D to select. I, er, obtained a regd version of 3.42 , it was a Spanish version - not hard to convert to English.

It's like I grew up in a different era. There were no computers until I was an adult. When the GB appeared I treated it as a kids toy and ignored it. I did collect ancient dos games for a long time, then eventually transferred to emulation. This means I missed out on consoles and handhelds entirely. Now, I'm too busy for serious gaming, only get to test things.

A newer version, 0.11 has been released. The readme mentions vanguard, darius, omega fighter and nova2001. I was able to get these working on pspe by hex modifying the xtinyrc.txt file. Darius is so wide that only half of it fits on the screen. The format of the xtinyrc.txt file is "defaultgame "(name of zipfile) 0x0a "frameskip 3" 0x0a example: defaultgame omegaf 0x0a frameskip 3 0x0a If someone knows a better way of rom selection, tell me! EDIT: This version works on the PSP with Bios 1.00

you say it was a .7z file? You will need to get WINRAR 3.42 or later to open and extract the rom inside.
