Metroid and mario have been around for quite a while. Polarium came out about 2 weeks ago or so, and I reported it in another thread. Polarium can run on the real DS via wireless. The others are said to be fake but who knows for sure. None of them run on emulators. The site looks ok, it's just information, no downloads.

HyperDS runs a few of my demos. It has a very nice front end. It's a pity I can't get hold of a newer version for testing, because I think it would probably do quite well. This is the list of what does something: cube_emu : works with a lot of flashing dsmode4ep : produces some strange colours first1 : works ship_emu : starts running in blue, then a bunch of graphics error messages texture_emu : works - sideways tri_emu : works - wrong colour I'll try to describe it. You can choose a screen size of 320x240 or 640x480. Strangely, only one of the screens has been emulated (the top one). Menu: File - Load - Binary - (choose a file) File - Exit Options - Frameskip - (various) Options - Show - OSD Options - Zoom - 320x240 or 640x480 Options - Configure - (see below) Emu - Resume / pause / reset / Step View - (debug options see below) Tools - Screenshot Help - Check for Update (greyed out) Help - About The debugger has these views: Disassembler, memory, Processor, Log, Cheat Finder, Palette, Sprite, Graphics. I know nothing about this, but it all appears to work. The Options - Configure opens a new window that lets you set up the Keyboard, Joystick/Gamepad, System bios and sound, User Interface - choose Splash Screen on/off. The Keyboard and Joystick/Gamepad screens have a lovely picture of the DS showing exactly where each button is, and what Key or Button has been assigned to it. HyperDS is certainly the nicest-looking of the emus. It's a pity it doesn't do much. I can post a picture if anyone is interested.

My thoughts exactly.

I got my licence first time, lol. I was driving trains for years before I ever drove a car. Diso had me worried for a few minutes. He said he overturned. In this country that means you rolled your car. But I guess he just mishandled the steering and drove off the road.

Good work James

I formatted a new hdd with win xp professional.

Sounds like you should get at least 1 gig of ram. Ram is always much better than a pagefile. When you are in the control panel to adjust the size, the current size is displayed. -

Cinder made a partition for his pagefile for his own reasons. I wouldn't bother, just leave it on your C drive. On my win95 pc, the defragger even defrags the page file. You don't have to make a pagefile, you can let windows manage it for you. I decided to set mine to 800mb on the win95 pc because it does a lot of work. On this machine I just use the internet so the pagefile is only 100mb. There is 512mb of ram which is heaps. The purpose of the pagefile is to be an extension of your ram. If you ran out of memory your system could crash; so windows uses some hard drive space as extra "memory". It swaps out unneeded running programs to the pagefile so it can work on whatever you are doing now. To set it up, go your control panel, system, advanced, performance options, and you can set the min and max sizes. Depending on your ram and what you use the pc for, choose something between 300mb and 1024mb. If you're using the computer some time, and you get a message saying that windows needs to increase the page file size, you'll know you didn't give it enough. -
I just tried your site Cinder and it's working fine. I must have picked the wrong moment earlier.....

I already did, yesterday sry.

I did a quick test b4 going to work, and I got some very choppy sound from audio_sampler and dsbonga. You have to wait a few secs b4 sound starts. I'm going to do a complete test on the emu when I get back home.

It is a lot of babble... perhaps that's what gave it away.

Weirdy here is your text translated (if you can work out what it means)

No forum for site feedback so hopefully this will do. On the main page, down the bottom right is some links for affiate sites. When i try them, 3 don't work properly. www.gamikaze.org, www.retrogaming-universe.com : server not found or dns error chaos.miskie.net : displays Apache setup page. Does anyone else get these problems?

Not my file; it's paradroid's. My rom matches your file.
-
I'd suspected it was yours for quite a while now. I hope you enjoyed the ruckus your little joke caused.
-
I'd agree with that. If you look at the last piece, about Homeless Emus, you will see a lovely typo. But who really cares? I'm sure the person responsible would have better things to do, rather than criticising hard-working admins.

try microsoft's one can't remember the name, and webroot spysweeper.
-
ok, i won't
-
I get none.

I think it extremely unlikely that the crc matches and the sha1 doesn't. I know it's remotely possible, but unlikely. I've looked through my collection, found 2 copies of that file. They both have the same size / crc / sha1 as yours. EDIT: i've downloaded your file, extracted the relevant part and added carriage returns so its readable.
